Head Of The Piaa Caught In The Act.

This has nothing to do with where my KFC comes from, it is all about a man glowing with pride holding Up a dead cat from a noose... The question was posed by the OP on what people think of this, I for one answered.. -

,I just find anyone who gleefully, impressively poses for a photo holding a dead animal is a sad excuse for a human, that's just my opinion. He traines his dogs to hunt ferral animals fine I am sure the local farmers would be greatful but that photo is sick. I also can't stand pig hunters that gloat about their killings, just makes me feel sick that some people get off killing animals... Culling animals in a professional manor is one thing but this just doesn't sit well with me... -
Must say I won't either, they inject a hell of a lot of serum into the animal ...
-
Rogue had the annual injection the other day when he had his vaccination.. The vet said that it is great as you don't need to think about it as it's annual.. I sat there wracking my brain trying to think what I had read about this on here lol lol I went blank so I said yes .. I watched her give him the injection and as she pressed the syringe I saw the amount of serum and I straight away though oh crap that's a lot... couldn't go back but I wish I had of said I'll take the tablet till I look into it .. I did ask her if there was any reactions with the injection and she said all she has had is a little reaction on the site and a long time ago there was a case but that's it.. He has shown no I'll effects but I will definatley look into it further before I make any decision on heartworm again...

Wow puppies, I have been slack coming in here ... Congrats to those bringing puppies home and to those waiting :-) woohoo can't wait for the pics!! -
Wish I had of scene this earlier, my vet got me to vaccinate at 10-12 then they sent me a letter at 14 weeks that he was due which I did leave till 14.5 but I would have left it till 14 weeks then 18weeks.. Our trainer was also a little shocked that he was vaccinated so early.. Should I be worried about anything due to this, could the vaccine not be as protective because he had it close to his 12 week needle? I,m not going back to this vet I haven't felt comfortable with them from the start..

Thank you so much nowstarin, we cannot wait to go and very happy that we will be prepared for ticks.. I'm getting him stripped before we go so he won't be slow fluffly and easier to check throughout each day :-) Advantix gives you 1 month cover for bush ticks. For paralysis ticks you would reapply fortnightly. It also kills and repels all biting insects flies mozzies sandflies ect and is the only treatment that kills parasites on contact without the need for the parasite to bite to get a dose. 100% effective for everything except paralysis ticks being 98% effective. Enjoy your holiday with peace of mind. Apply preferably 48 hours prior to your departure.

LMAO yes is he :-) likewise great photo.. -
Hi guys we are going camping for easter in an area where bush ticks are Lavuka national park NSW , what would be a good prevention for bush ticks? I have tried to search if paralysis ticks are present but nothing came up so I am hoping we will only have bush ticks if anything.. I was thinking one of the 2 week ones as it will be easy to have before we go but would they be as effective in a tick area as the every second day one? Thanks in advance :-) PS we are not camping in the national park but near it :-)

The older you get it is nice to to be able to give them back to their parents when they start to cry or become annoying lol lol lol..

Doesent worry me if people don't like kids but I think people that say they hate kids, hate is a very strong word and that to me is sad.. I do not like some adults, I don,t really like some children but I don't hate them ( that have been brought up not being taught respect by their parents) Bullying, you see this all the times parents making excuses for their child being the bully, what a load of crap its the parents fault for not raising their child with morals, respect for others, compassion, empathy. Raising children is not easy and if one of mine bullied another I would take that as partly my fault for not raising my child correctly and I would do whatevernit takes to repair this... Just curious but Why would you want to have one of your own if you don't like them? How odd.. see I don't get that.. We are all made differently I just find people that hate others for whatever reason very sad and I am once again dissapointed in humanity. Ha and yes strange topic for a pure dog forum lol.. topics on children and bull breeds always get a bit heated, but at least this one isn't going down the same path as other heated discussions :-)

They are innocent until will take that away. Lacking affecrion as a child would impact you greatly as an adult.. I was aiming that at people that hate children. Some children annoy me but its not their fault it's their stupid parents that lack parenting skills.
-
I'm sure some are, but when I was at school there were also quite a number that weren't Lol cat I think I am referring to young children they do become les desirable after they reach um 5 lol lol
-
Fair 'nuf. No one has to like children. So long as you are not a Primary School teacher or Child care worker I'm okay with that. But, if I may ask, is it ALL children, is there a reason or is it just "how you feel"? How do you interact with children if required to? Do you acknowledge them or are you dismissive of them? I mean, I don't like every adult (or child) I meet either. Again, why on earth does it matter what someone thinks of children? Particularly on an Internet forum. The OP was just wondering, if people don't like the question then don't answer, sounds simple to me. Unfortunately over the years parenting has diminished and children get away with a lot.. We need to go back in time when discipline was the norm, now parents are scared or have not been taught how .. It seems easy to me and undesirable behaviour is not tolerated lol. Example, my daughter was quite disrespectful to my OH today she was going to a party on the weekend, she isn't now. Follow through, most parents would threaten knowing well they couldn't not let their little angel not go to her first party for the year. I say my angel will think twice next time she is disrespectful lol , OK parenting 101 over, I love kids its their parents I don,t like :-)

I prefer young children to adults. Adults can be so hurtful, rude, selfish, judging, the list goes on. Children are innocent, loving, they don,t judge you like adults do, they have unconditional love. I wonder people that hate children with a passion were you not shown affection as a child? Anyway each to their own, and OP I dare anyone to make that sort of coment if I had a 6 mth old beside them, that is rude she could have said it in a much nicer way, what a stupid woman. I wouldn't like to be sitting beside a crying baby for a long flight either but I would be tactfu,l then I was raised with manners a lot of adults were not as children.... Edit to add the word young :-)

Maybe you could use that one for the car and buy a wire crate, I got mine off eBay new for $80 it is huge as my boy is a large breed puppy.. They do get hot in the enclosed ones, I know when I have a cover over my wire one he gets hot so I have to leave the back open and just the sides covered so it is still dark but airflow can get in.. Anyway your choice hope he stays settled soon for you.. :-)

He looks a little shocked is it a size thing LMAO -
I remember when my sister and I were young children we lived across the road from a river. One day we were walking to our spot, we came across a beautiful grayhound with a rblue ribbon across his chest and a glass vile beside him, he was dead. So sad, we never went to that part of the river again :-( so I guess taking them to the vet is a better way than this ...

Simi is a little cutey :-) -
It will pass, I have 4 children and was a zombie prob for 2 weeks of no sleep.. She will settle down it is hard but at least you only have one child :-) ( one posative lol)
-
My little man has a little run we made up on the deck also has his crate in there, when I am home from work he has the yard but he only stays down there if we are there, sometimes I sneak away when he has a bone but he soon realises :-) He comes inside at night when kids are in bed and we cuddle, quiet time before he goes back out to bed..
-
Judy69 I mix Greek yoghurt and sardines sometimes natural sometimes with tomato sauce and put it in a Kong and freeze it. I give it to my boy to chew in throughout the day while at work and he loves it :-)
-
I guess with children vigilance is the key, he could have just been a child that has no discipline and gets what he wants, oh my goodness I see a lot of them quite rude.. Glad his mother eventually came over...

The problem is too many people have dogs off lead that have no control, we have them walk behind our property along the walking track, dogs take off owners stand calling, calling. We have chicken which we used to let out they stay in our vege patch area that is right behind our house ( its an easement area which we are allowed to use) I don't let them out anymore as I know one of these dogs will take one of them, real shame I loved watching them free range.. We never used to have a problem but seems to be a real increase of nobs ...
