  1. I think you need to go back and read from start to finish to see who insulted who first Clyde.
  2. You obviously do not check when your pups have been loaded into their crates, because they are not given a drip bottle to drink from. Maybe you need to check next time you take a puppy for transporting, it may also give you second thoughts. The cancelled flight is not the issue that DogsVet is talking about. The flight company is not the issue, it was dogtainers promised service that was not delivered. It was dogtainers who were rude and very unhelpful, not the flight companies. Why steer off a subject totally irrelevant to what the complaint is actually about. Its a public forum like you stated, freedom of speech, if you don't like what has been said, you can leave with a reply like, My dealings with them have been great over 30 years, no problems what so ever, sorry your experience was a HORRIBLE one..... that's being honest and nice about it. Everyone has had different experiences with the company. Everyone is entitled to say how they feel about their experience. I as of yet have not had a bad experience with dogtainers, but in saying that, I have dealt with them once and that was the Brisbane office. They were great. Like I stated in my other post, great customer service goes a long way. I have a pup coming from Hobart this week and I am so praying I do not have to deal with Adelaide dogtainers as it frightens me to think what could happen. Dogsvet is not the only one who has had issue's with the Adelaide company, maybe you need to Google and see for your self. You provide your own and fill it I toilet my pups and dogs, give them a little drink and pop them in their crates ( with their own bedding ) , put the cable ties on the crates, hand them over to the courier or AAE direct and then wait until the plane departs. By waiting, you know that the plane has indeed departed and the flight hasn't been cancelled. It's really just common sense flying a dog or puppy. Ok well that must be for very long distance travelling, because we were not allowed to put anything in the crate, nor were we able to tape, tie or whatever the papers on the crate. So it just goes to show, that its different every state i suppose. But if we could do that, it would be good. But they don't let us, so i don't know why that is. Would you get your water bottle back if you did it this way.? just curious
  3. Looking after that puppy is not beyond their control. The flight being delayed, yes that is, but like I have said in other post, Dogsvet did not have an issue with the flight being delayed, it was the transport company who were paid to take care of their pup that did not live up to their promise splattered all over their site. People are a different story when a flight has been delayed, they can look after themselves, what can a 8 week old puppy do???
  4. DogSvet please don't try and prevoke people on the list. We could all come out and shoot you down. If you are not happy with the situation of flying dogs then don't sell them to places where they have to fly. That's a bit low, why the need for that kind of comment, Some people class their babies as one of their children, some just see dollar signs and this is very sad. Dogsvet bred one of the most beautiful Shar Pei litters I have seen, they were always loved as one of her own and very well looked after and healthy. She had two puppies and was her first litter, she has used these forums for help and advice, so she has not just been here to complain about an issue that she had, she came here for help......Not to be shot down, not to be told to suck it up....people like you should be ashamed of yourselves, because in my eyes that is a threat, and there was no need for it. You also could have said that in a nicer way, that comment was not meant for you and was no need for you to reply with a comment like that. Don't threaten to shoot people down because guarantee it will back fire on you.

  6. Hi All, I also bought a puppy the same time as Ashleigh did off DogSvet and she was flown to me from Brisbane to the Whitsunday coast. I only had to deal with the Brisbane Dogtainers and not Adelaide.....thank god. They were lovely and contacted me to let me know, my puppy was on her way. I too have heard a lot of bad remarks about the service of the Adelaide dogtainers company. So in saying that, its not all dogtainers company that have rude people. Had I receive this service from the Brisbane office, I too would be taken action. For the simple reason a puppy who has just had surgery, should not be locked up anywhere for 10 hours with no water of food. If you locked your dog in the car for 10 hours with no food and water even with all the windows down, what will happen. You will get in massive trouble. Its classed as neglect. The problem here is NO you can not help flight delays, but dogtainers were suppose to be there to look after the dog until it was on the flight to her new home. We pay a lot of money to have our dogs well taken care of and to make sure they feel safe and comfortable as this is all knew to a puppy who would be a nervous wreck as it is. In DogSvet situation the flight was delayed so fair enough, where were dogtainers to let both Ashleigh and DogSvet know this. No where is site when they should have been. Where were dogtainers Adelaide when they were informed about the delay, again nowhere in site when they should have gone and picked puppy up and let her out, give her water and food till her flight was right to go again. They were asked to go and pick her up, but they whined because they were too far away from the airport to do this. Is this what we paid them for, did they not state this on there site: With over 30 years of experience in delivering any pet, anywhere, anytime – you can trust your special pet is in the safest of hands when you choose our professional Pet Transport services. In my eyes Dogtainers Adelaide failed big time in their duty of care to the puppy, to Ashleigh and to DogSvet. On top of it all, they had to deal with Rude dogtainers staff. Great Customer service goes a long way, being rude, is just not on considering the money you pay, but not so much the money, the worry of where and what's happening to that innocent little puppy who has never in its life so far been exposed to something so scary the first time.
