Any other sites i can try? piratebay is giving me a hard time If you have a torrent program (e.g vuze) those files on piratebay should be able to be downloaded and played without too much hassles. I only really use that one as there are always comments telling you if the file is corrupt / fake. Or, http://www.tv-links.eu/ - usually has some movies on there, not the biggest selection like piratebay, but you can watch them online without too much difficulty.

What a great thread to read! gsdog2 it's really such an amazing thing that you did, I think it takes a strong and caring person to be able to foster a puppy and care for him, and then to give him back. Even though knowing he quite possibly has an exciting time ahead, I would be a blubbering mess at the end. I think there are definitely special people who are made to do these kinds of things (Like the lady onto their 19th foster.. wow! Certainly dedication). Look forward to hearing if the little man graduates! I'm sure he'll pass with flying colours!

So I started watching some of the movies suggested on here... Hachi What a beautiful movie..

If she's young and impressionable, and feels sorry for 'cute little dogs' perhaps show her some of 'Oscar's Law's youtube videos. Even any videos of backyard breeder interventions where they rescue puppies and show / educate people on the squalor they lived in and the treatment they received. Perhaps if she knew what she'd be inadvertantly supporting she may think twice about going down that particular avenue. I don't think you can convince her not to buy a puppy and pushing her not to may only push her to rebel and get one anyway. Just try and educate her and nudge her gently in the right direction.

oh goody you can clear something up for me! friend and I were talking about malinois. I pronounce it 'mal-in-wah' and my friend thinks the correct pronunciation is 'mal-in-woo'. She is actually Belgium though so I am inclined to think I must have it wrong? If it was the 'wah' sound at the end it would be 'noir' Nois sounds like 'oo'.. French is a strange language haha I'm sorry, but this is incorrect. Malinois is pronounced Mal-in-wah, as SecretKei said. Any oi in French produces a wah sound, and never an oo. The only difference between your two examples is that the s in Malinois is silent, whereas the r in noir is not (so noir is pronounced nwahr). Well there you go!

:rofl: Nice one Penny!!! Only time I've been embarrassed was by my Afghan Hound. He knows beeping the car horn draws attention. Everytime I'd pop into a shop for a minute, he'd jump over into the front seat, and start beeping. First with beep, beep. Then a beep beep beeeeep. Then eventually he'd graduate to just "beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep" People in the shops all got to know him. It's not everday one sees an Afghan Hound in the drivers seat with both front feet on the steering wheel. My dog has learned to use the horn too, I hope he doesn't 'graduate' to doing it like that though! At this point he'll do it once or twice until he sees me coming, then races back to the back of the car where he's supposed to be. So cheeky! When I lived with my sister a while back, her little JRT used to sleep on my bed.. She observed me hitting the snooze button and learnt how to bump it with her nose.. I had to explain to my boss why I was late once and I don't think she bought the excuse! dogs are too smart for their own good!
