Just found out her litter sister was 9 months old when she had her first heat.

Does her being a big size female make aany Diffrence?

Hi all, I have a friend that has a female G/shepherd and is 11 months old. and she still has not come into her first heat, how long do they usally take to come on?

Because I am an agent for Black Hawk, that makes me dishonest...does it I repeat, my two very active border collies who live in a very hot climate & are fed Black Hawk, would not, even on the hottest day drink more than half a litre of water a day. Hmmmmmmm BC's are pretty smart though, mabey they are turning the hose on for each other when I am not looking Sorry to offened, but seems like evrey time there is a disscusion on dog food you are right there to promate Black Hawk... i have tryed it and dont like it simple as that its like any other crap food out there . Sheena isn't forcing you to feed BH, she gave her opinion on the food that her dogs do well on, she was giving the same opinion long before she became a distributor for BH, except now she has to don a flame suit for daring to mention the brand she feeds. Every other user posts the brand of food they feed their dogs, so how is that any different? You asked for opinions, you're getting them, you tried BH and it didn't agree with your dogs? thats fine, don't try it again, nobody is forcing you to For the record, I feed BH, my dogs thrive on it, I have no idea how much they drink but they always have access to water, and NO I don't distribute BH Yep I will never Feed it to my dogs again, and will never recomened it either. The only good thing about it was, gave the dogs shiny coats that is all.. the farts never stoped,they kept pissing all the time.. and they drank water like elephants LOL.. and this is my opinion.. have a good day LOL

Hope the Royal Canin suits them better last 2 days they doing ok.. I should have changed to Royal Canin long time ago.. Guess we all live and learn.

My Dogs, have been on Royal Canin for 2 days now, since I stopped the Black Hawk ther thirst went back to normal and there pissing in the garden has come down to half LOL

It has nothing to do with price I just dont think Black Hawk is what many people think it is. its just the same as any other dry dog food with lots of crap.. P.S. is the 80% water you talking about apply to dogs? Like I said my dog farts all the time, Drinks water as if it has not seen water, and lost its muscle tone have you any answers to them questions. the only thing my dog has is a good coat to look at and that is not evreything..

I have been using useing Black hawk, for the past 6 months there coats look ok BUT they are loseing muscle and puting on fat instead. also lots of farting and drinking heaps of water I never seen this happen with other dry foods!! Is there lots of salt in this dry dog food that is making them drink like they are elephants. :)they are the reasons why I want to change the dry dog food and not sure what to try...
