I ordered my new bike It arrives on tuesday- so excited! -
Thanks Which one? The one with white markings is Bondi who you have met

Ours is black- we only use it in winter for that reason..

I miss having 4 dogs They certainly kept you on your toes- especially with 2 Boxer puppies! Now I'm down to 1.5 dogs Not enough. I've resorted to "borrowing" my bosses dogs Don't have any photos of all 4 of them together (Beryl, Barkly, Bronson and Bondi) My current project dogs Rumour starts obedience this week.. she knows nothing so is a clean canvas to work with

I was walking my Boxer at local offlead park once.. lots off dogs there, but Bondi has very good offlead control and can be called away from anything (including the kangaroos that frequent the park ) Anyway we were walking and came across a jack russel, hackles up "stalking" us.. ready to charge. I asked owners to call their dog, as I called Bondi the opposite way to another path the Jack Russel charged and started nipping and having ago at my dog as we kept walking away- owners started to come over from the other side of the field to collect their dog. After having enough of being attacked (and me having enough of seeing it) Bondi turned and pinned their jackrussel with her chest.. until it relaxed/submitted . The owners moved alot more swiftly when they saw that!! Apparently it's ok for my large dog to be nipped at and bitten, but not ok for their little dog to be told off (with no teeth involved I'll add) Atleast they said "sorry that was my my fault" when they got their dog.. and I told them to keep it onlead until they can have abit more control!

Which Is The Most "dog Friendly" State.
boxagirl replied to Keira&Phoenix's topic in General Dog Discussion
I've lived in NSW, Vic, and WA and have found Victoria the most dog friendly. -
Poor Wolf has just had to go to the vet and have his front leg xrayed He is very sore on it and holding it up- yet he was fine on the weekend Just my luck. He is being crated for a week and is on painkillers and anti-inflamatorys to see how he goes. Vet doesn't see a break or fracture.

What about just starting a training Blog online? It dates and orders all the info- you can include videos and photos of your training sessions, and can just write what you did like a journal entry if you like. I'm thinking of starting one of these when I get back into training with the sibes this year.

I think it's very impressive heelwork- but for a different discipline so different standard is required. I think the attention and focus from that dog is amazing.

Wow very rushed! I didn't get home from the show until after 12! I'm first in tonight (yay reverse order) so I might get to leave early :D

Wolf was a pain in the butt at last nights show- he thought someone was in season, so his nose was glued to the ground and he didn't show well Hopefully he isn't this distracted when obedience goes back!!

My bike is a mountain bike- 6 gears I think (but they seem to be broken and I can only ride in gear 3 without the gears changing themselves)- would be fine for ET but now I've been bitten by the bike riding bug and have some friends to ride with on new bike trail-20-40kms hills lol I need (and Want ) a new bike -
Mason did really well  I agree- we need to have more of these every year! If I had known what it was going to be like (and being able to used food in the rings) I would have brought Wolf down

My springer comes really close too- I have to ride with my heel on the pedal instead of toe on the pedal on the springer side- otherwise my foot will hit it, I'm getting a new bike too My bikes gears don't cut it for the longer hilly rides. I've been bitten by the bikeriding bug now I think -
Nope I've only met afew people from here (rally, emery, rusky and afew others)... although I've probably run into everyone at one point or another.

I had the same problem Raineth. Does it not fit because it's hitting the pedels? Have you tried putting it on under the seat? -
Nope I'm not sure who is who Bondi enjoyed a night out, even if she didn't want to do obedience properly. She was very well behaved with all the dogs so I was happy with her Now off to bath my Sibe beast for today and tomorrows shows..
