I have a smooth griff and she is high maintenance in the attention side of things, she is great by herself when we are at work and has never destroyed anything, but once we are home she is full on in your face and has to be included in everything! They are the best little dogs and are low maintenance in many ways but they do require a lot of attention to thrive.

I have found zukes z bones at pet barn good, googling only bought up positive things about it unlike greenies. They are a good teeth chew that's clean enough to give them inside. I also get the k9 natural treats which are made in NZ and mighty raw treat chews made in Australia.

I think the it's not about not vaccinating but knowing when vaccination isn't nesessery through titre testing. Initial vaccinations are always going to be vital. As for fleas I have never had to treat my 1 1/2 yr old yet, but she will be treated if ever needed, she also gets interceptor monthly so is always treated for all worms. My dog had her puppy vacs and had her booster which covers her for 3 yrs except for kennel cough. When the 3 yrs is up she will be titre tested first.

I've hopped on the bandwagon and have just used some as a rinse on my pup, but plan to wash her feet in it after her walks as she gets itchy feet.

I have never once had a problem with my dog, I got her at 10 weeks and went back to work when she was 12 weeks and never had a problem, no sending her back to the breeder here! If you make a blanket statement like that of course not everyone will agree with you as many people have raised a pup while working with great success. I am very thankful my breeder was willing to let me buy my pup as she is the best dog ever and when I am not at work a constant companion.

My mums new griff pup plays with my griff like this lol, she tugs really hard but my dog seems to not mind. My griff is now sporting some lovely scabey cheeks from their last play session.

I was always told it's better to over dose than under dose as otherwise it won't be effective. The safety margin would be large I could imagine anyway, I would give the pup the half a table as it's the correct amount anyway.

If the bird vet is Deb Monks she is fantastic with dogs and cats as well. I worked with her along time ago and can't rate her highly enough.

I would get him hydrobathed as the water pressure is great for washing out all the dead hair and skin, I always found with my pom I hardly ever had to brush her as hydro bathing did it for me.

Normal to me is under 5kg, the past and present dogs in the family have all been small but when people comment on how little they are I can't see it as they look big to me lol.

I saw a cat hydrobathed in its wire top cage years ago when I did a kennel and cattery course through tafe. Cat wasn't able to be handled so the vet that was teaching us showed us to do that, as well as tipping the cage to let out the water.

The earthborn meadows is the grain free one with a lot less protein percentage.

My parents have fenced off a small yard at the back of their house so their new griff pup has access to a secure outside area out of one of the back doors as they are on a acre block of land. Could they do something like that?
