  1. My little girl started puppy pre-school last week and im not used to having the most out going pup in the class  , she is the smallest by far and runs around like a looney, at play time she just did zoomies around the whole class and everyone was just standing there laughing at her. Sometimes she looks a bit special . Hope everyones pups are going well, and for the people waiting hope the time goes quick
  2. Thanks SG! Is it very common for a breed that has naturally down ears to end up having them come up?
  3. Just a quick question regarding the ears on my 14wk old Griffon pup. In the last couple of weeks one of her ears has been wanting to stand up with the other staying in the correct position for the breed, now the ear is pretty much right up with her other ear still in the normal position. Would this be due to teething? Will her ear come back down into the correct position?
  4. Is kangaroo meat good for puppies? I heard it was too low in fat for puppies, is this right?
  5. No really, this IS my happy face!
  6. Just some photos of my new pup aka monkey, as due to it being illegal in australia to own a monkey i went for the next best thing, a Griffon
  7. Congrats on finding your new pup Llante, she is a cutie
  8. I got my pup at 10wks as mine is a toy breed so the breeder prefered to wait till they are that bit older. She has settled in great.
  9. http://www.michellecaitens.com/html/portrait_gallery.html I can recomend this artist. Mine is the Jedda and Tala painting.
  10. Awww poor Lucy. My sisters 3yr old chihuahua had a bout of this recently and had a night at the vet, they didnt know the cause either. Hope she has a quick recovery and is fine to come home tomorrow.
  11. That sucks Llante, i think often it is a case of just doing your homework then ringing around the good breeders. I was lucky with mine that he was in Brisbane too so i could go visit him and his dogs and get a feel of the parents and how the pups are raised.
  12. Well the Griffon thread had all but died and rotted away  . Love the harness, its so cute. The wait for the puppy is torture, then comes the toilet training Little miss has turned 11wks today and is getting more hyper by the day, my sister is bringing her chihuahua over tonight so hopefully she will tire the gremlin out. Don, would love to see some updated pics of Bonnie!! Llante, i love Amelia Pond, Pond is cute.
  13. Wow lucky thing. I use it with my current pup and my last dog and love it.
  14. Omg so mentally draining. She is such a sweetheart but so trying as well, we are slowly learning that fingers are not tug toys or things to chew on. She has found she likes digging which extends to the indoor plant pot as well. Think im going to have to invest in those wipes, i actually forgot about them so the mop has been getting a workout. Im glad Bonnie is getting the hang of it as it gives me hope with my gremlin  .
  15. Awww Bonnie and Iris are adorable :D I am finding toilet training really tough at the moment, she mostly will not warn she is about to go, she will go from standing looking at me to peeing. I take her outside constantly and she will go and i praise her but she still doesnt have a clue. Think im lucky that where i live all downstairs is tiled.
  16. I recently bought a Hartmans patio door from bunnings, it looks exactly the same as the pig in mud door but instead of being close to $400 for the medium PIM, it was only $189 and seems great quality.
  17. In high risk tick areas i would use both, they are safe to use in conjunction with each other. Otherwise i think the advantix is more effective if you want just one product.
  18. Well she is home It was sooo hard to choose but i am happy with my little girl. She cried all the way home from the breeder, but as soon as she got home and got settled abit she was all happy. Her first night was good as i had her crate next to the bed and she cried for about 10mins then fell asleep and slept through till about 5am, i was expecting to have her wake up for the toilet during the night but she didnt. She is just so sweet and she is setteling in so quick. I will be posting photos soon :D I am so glad i have taken two weeks of work from next week as it is torture going to work knowing she is at home, but luckly my mum was more than willing to look after her for the next few days.
  19. :D No the Griffon is mine, and i pick her up tomorrow afternoon, dont think i will sleep very well tonight.
  20. Thats so soon! What kind of pup are you waiting on? A smooth coat Griffon Bruxellois, i have second pick of the litter of three. CleoJ, i didnt relise corgis had brindle in them, thats interesting.
  21. Its never to early to get excited :D . I love the merles. I have been waiting for what seems like forever for my pup. But now i get to pick her up on tuesday!! So excited!!
  22. Mine with my silky terrier is when i would pick her up in my arms like a baby and she would give a massive sigh and so contently snuggle into my arms. Another would be when she got into a box of weetbix, when she heard me arrive home and pretended she had nothing to do with it which i belived her (i blamed the other dog), untill she started pawing at her mouth and i checked her and she had the roof of her mouth thick with weetbix. My pom it would have to be when she would get really excited and happy she would run around like a froot loop with a massive grin on her face. Although one time when doing loops at the park she thought the pond covered in grass like weeds was just grass and ran straight into it going completley under the water, the suprised look on her face was priceless  I miss them both so much
