  1. My boy is a super duper WUSS! He literally screams for vaccinations, cries when he gets snapped at and puts on the whole "OMG YOU'VE CRIPPLED ME FOR LIFE!" act if you accidently step on him! ( he also does this when he plays rough at the park and another dog squishes/tackles him. Its FINE when he squishes/tackles them though) ..... sigh. Definately a DRAMA QUEEN......

  2. Your guys are all beautiful!

I don't know if my Reggie qualifies, :o I haven't had a go at "proper" dog sports etc. before.......

Trained 'my' first dog (Border Collie) and had high hopes that I was GOING to trial her, but she was/is very nervy and dog aggressive. Mind you she probably could have been something special but I was 12-14 at the time and made tons of mistakes

Oh well! Reggie is 10 months old and doing nicely. I have high hope for him! I just have to make sure I don't show him up!

Never to late to start getting serious I suppose!

  3. I recommend you get some samples of different premium foods & seeing which one your dog does best on. :)

This. Or at least buy small bags so you don't do your dough if it doesn't work out.

With the super premiums I know most have a 'super palatability agreement' so if the dog won't eat it etc. You can take it back and you'll get a refund/exchange.

The food has to be in the bag (more than 1/2 a bag left) and you'll need a receipt.....

  4. FlowerProwler omg Onyx is GORGEOUS! <3

My kelpie's (9ish months now) ears slwly came up from about 5ish months. He had crazy ears, ine went up, came down, other ear half up, down, up, down etc..... then up with the tips down. Now they're both up and staying up. (and GINORMOUS. Lol)

  5. Tintin Jac- I loved that cartoon as a kid! So when I conjure "Tintin" that's what I think of...... Rin Tin Tin never comes to mind..... teehee :o

One thing I seem to subconsciously go for are "y" or "ie" sounds. If their name don't have one, a nickname all most certainly does! :D

    My dogs are-

Rocky: I think my dad was going through a Rocky Balboa phase.....lol

Sadie, Reggie and Tess they just suited.

    Cats-

    Misty

Calliope (kal-eye-oh-pee): from greek mythology. Homer's muse.

Brutus: named after my parents old ginger tom Brutus (rip). A ploy to get them to accept him? maybe ;)

Angelo: Rescued kitten, cute like an angel (probably should be called Lucifer though)

    Eclectus

My parrots are 'themed' all Yoruba (african) in meaning

Kirabo (key-rah-bow): Gift from God. Kept me together through some tough times.

    Ayo (eye-oh): means joy

    Ife (ee-fay): Means love

(Ayo and Ife are a 'breeding pair')

Through time various chickens (we breed for show and have on average 75+ at any one time) have had mythological names, emperor names, pokemon :o names and have been named after breeders we've got them from eg, Barry, Campbell etc.

  6. Weez is gorgeous! Does he still has a half floppy ear?

when you think your guys stopped growing? Reggie is like a weed! (a very lovable weed) just measured him, well attempted to, I swear he's part kangaroo... he's already 58-59ish cm!

not that I care how big he is, but he's built like model (super model legs, tall and skinny!) And I wonder if when/if he'll fill out.....
