Do you think there is anything that can be done to prepare a current dog for a new addition?? we have an AMStaff and she is brilliant with other dogs until they sniff her to much then she gets a bit protective other than that she is fine, but we are getting a dally in the next 5 weeks and I want to minimise initial collateral damage to say the least haha. I could just be paranoid or do I just let them become acquainted naturally??

what breed are they?? Very cute

Yea, Iv decided to go check them out tomorrow, if I like one of them ill put the deposit down.

what sort of puppy? how old will he/she be? the older they are the easier they are to train and therefore leave home and go to work. i've just been through this myself :D Dalmatian, and he will be 8 weeks, I plan on crate training and I am looking into a pen for when Im not home, (because we have another dog I will need to separate them till im 110% puppy wont get on doggies nerves)

Indiana ?? Indi for sort Edit: As I see someone has already made that suggestion sooo I second it

Yeap his a Dal, I havent been able to sleep, 8 weeks till I can pick him up, next week ill be getting some updated photos as they start to get chubby. At the moment Im just trying to do as much reading as I can, I want to be prepared iv had 2 Dalmatians in the past (as a kid) and I know our last one was an absolute cannon ball just because my parents are wog and dont really understand the value of "training" a pup lol.

Ow finally I have found a thread where I can go nuts !! (still getting used to this site and navigating ) I finally found a breeder that I like, and his past litter were adorable, pups are currently 1 week old and I just heard they have started to get their spots and put on some weight, I was so excited all I could think about last night was kible and freeze dried liver (odd I know), I feel like im being a little tooo fan girl over this but i haven't been this excited for a long time!!!.
