  1. Hi All I have a 11 month old ACD who is very good with his toileting, we live in a motorhome and he always lets us know when he needs to go. A couple of months ago he was going through the night without waking us but lately he is waking us in the middle of the night to pee and poop, he gets taken outside before we go to bed which is between 9 and 10 most nights some a bit earlier some a bit later. He stopped having breakfast 2 months ago by his own doing so he is feed between 6 and 7 most nights. Would we be better to give him morning meals allowing him to burn off and get ride of everything or is there something else we could maybe try.

    New Food

Hi Our local shop ran out of the mince we had been feeding our 3 month old puppy, so we trying a new feed called VIP lamb chunkies, also come in chicken. Has any one else tried these and can they tell me what they think of them, he seems to like them and the ingrediance all seems good to me.
  3. Hi All My 12 wk old Blue Heeler is really good with his food as in he sits and waits until told to eat, I can put my hand in his bowl without a problem although he does move around to try and move me on, If I give him a chicken neck or wing as a lunch time treat he will eat it out of my hand , but after I give it to him he moves off to eat and if I go to take it back he tries to put it all in his mouth or swallows it to stop me from getting it, he doesn't growl but wont let me get it again, any ideas on what to do as I don't wont him swallowing his food whole if he has something I don't want him to eat

  5. Hi All We have an 11 week old Blue Heeler and up until now has been in his crate of a night time and waking us to toilet, as we live in a motorhome we use a soft crate and you guessed it he has chewed the zipper so we cant close it up( we are in far west SA and no upholsterer here)he is now sleeping on his bed which covers most of his area and tethered at night' the last 2 nights he has pooped on the steps and done wee on his bed last night as well. If he is whining to go out it must be less as we haven't heard it. Any ideas on a different method of training for night time toilet Thanks Wayne
  6. Thanks. What type of bone for puppy left unsupervised
  7. Hi Everybody First time post and new puppy owner (24 years since last one)We have a 11 week old ACD he has been doing great at everything so far. He sleeps through the night and asks to go outside for toilet. We live and travel in our motorhome so this means we stay in caravan parks while working, he has an outside area approx 3 x 2.5 mtrs where he spends his days until full vacsination. The last 2 mornings when OH has left for work Busta has been crying, howling and jumping on the sides of his pen. I have been on night shift and trying to sleep I don't think he knows that I am here, after 1 hour I went outside and when he settled I bought him inside to his bed he slept for 30 min and back outside with no problems and plays with his toys. What should I do as I have to consider other people in the van park. He has a crate inside should we try putting him in there until I rise (if he is quiet). My OH feeds him before she leaves and he has a pen full of toys and kongs filled with treats. What about a big bone to chew on
