Female Kelpie Or Kelpie X Wanted
Purdie replied to Inka3095's topic in Dog Rescue (General Rescue Discussion)
When my Pippa dog was young she would jump the fence to follow us ;then i started giving her a big bone if we had to go out without her.The bone kept her occupied and often when we arrived back home she would still be chewwing on it.She did grow out of wanting to following us once she passed the 2 year mark. -

If you foster another dog i would advise against a very young dog or pup in this instance. The pup will pick up on the stress from roo and you could end up with another anxious dog.Consider fostering an adult dog;one that is very relaxed and steady- like a retriever as an example, will help make Roo calmer .Take a look on pet rescue;there are a lot of rescue groups around that may be able to help you find a suitable companion for you and Roo.

Roo looks such a sweetheart. As you say she was in a situation where her owner was working from home and she had company most of the time.So what are your options. 1. Doggy.Day care.Or someone minding her while your working or going out. 2..Rehome to a multi person home where someone is home most of the time and also have another relaxed dog for company. 3..Have another dog as a companion-if she bonds to and enjoys the company of another dog. 4..The hardest option.. I hope you find a solution all the best to you.

Not an AVO ..you need an Intervention order .The police will serve him with the order and he will need to sign it in their presence. The order and the police will tell him not to harass you or allow his dog to go near you or your dog .
