Are there any breeders in Victoria?
-
I would like to one day own an genuine Central Asian Shepherd :) This time I will make sure to go through a proper breeder.
-
Gotta hate those "told ya so" moments ;) )Hahaha yes! Doesn't matter anyway, she is a quirky dog :)
-
I have put one up as my profile picture.
-
Now that my puppy is all grown up, she doesn't look like a pure bred Central Asian Shepherd at all. The people I got her from had a male Macedonian shepherd, her mother was seemed like a pure bred Central Asian Shepherd so I am wondering if that Macedonian shepherd is my dog's father. She is a fantastic dog, although she chases chickens if they run and is doing a good job guarding the house and the yard.

Hence the reason why I am asking for some soultions...
-
We have had our chickens for years. We have other dogs who aren't even phased by the chooks at all. I introduced her to the chooks when she was young.
-
The chooks don't live in fear. The puppy doesn't circle the pen or try to get in. Although, the rooster flew out and she played with him and killed him.
-
I want the dog to stop WANTING to kill the chickens. And since she is still quite young, I'm hoping it is still possible.

Hi, My 6month old puppy likes to chase and kill chickens. I am certain she learnt this from the old pug cross. I am just wondering if anyone has any ideas or soultions to fixng this problem?
-
I know she is a purebred. Our old pug cross loved to chase and eat chooks, I do believe that is were she learnt it from. How do I get her out of it?

Akida likes to chase the chooks, and I am not sure what approach to take? She is fine with the horses, cattle, etc She is more black rather then dark brown but she has reddish tinge in her fur though.

I have the honor of owning a beautiful 6month old Central Asian Shepherd pup named Akida, she is a dark brown with smokey grey bits in some areas and a white chest. This is a bit of a stupid question, does their guardian instincts come naturally or do they need some training?

Central Asians are a beautiful breed.
