My shot for day 5 is completely out of my comfort zone... there's a big car show event thingie on in Canberra called Summernats, and today the top 200 Summernats cars went for a spin down the main road. My boss tells me this car is a 1965 Shelby Cobra. Also, I just got a trial version of Photoshop, so I went a little nuts with the editing, however I didn't touch the car itself. I took a sunset photo as well! This is a satellite dish at the ANU Observatory on Mount Stromlo. Unfortunately I didn't realise that the boom gate on the road would be closed at 6pm, so I had to walk about a kilometre uphill to get to the Observatory. Very impressive shots everyone... I'm going to have to lift my game! I decided to bake some delicious chocolate cookies today, using the cute bear(?) and squirrel cookie cutters I got for Christmas.

I got up at 4:45 this morning to get started on this project! My first photo for the year is the sunrise.

2012 is a leap year, isn't it? So it should be the "366 Day Project" :p I'm going to give this one a go. Expect some overlap for the first month and a half between the 366 Days of 2012 and my current 130 Days to 30 project. Flickr link
