A very fitting word for this month, but I think it's going to be a very tough challenge!

I know... This afternoon I had to walk past the delicious smell of waffle cones on my way to the gym... torture!

At the start of the month when I picked my word "choices", I had a bunch of ideas of shots I could take. Some of them didn't work out as planned, and some of them I just didn't get around to. Here are the 10 shots that I decided were okay... including my very first selfie!

I haven't used LR so I'm not sure how it compares with Aperture. I'm not completely fluent with Aperture yet... I've been using it to organise my photos and perform minor adjustments. I'm pretty good with PS so if I have major adjustments I can't be bothered to figure out how to do in Aperture, I can just go straight from Aperture to my PS trial to edit the photo. The changes are then saved back into Aperture as a new photo :)

Get a Pro... I think the Air would struggle if you were planning on using PS or Lightroom. I upgraded to a Pro from a first gen Air so I could use Aperture.

Just got back from a weekend in Sydney, time to play catch up! Day 27 - my family had an impromptu party to celebrate the opening of Mum's new surgery. My brother brought us these chocolates from Adriano Zumbo... super fancy and super delicious! I remember seeing these trees on car rides down to Canberra back when I was a kid. If you've ever driven from Sydney to Canberra you'll know what I mean... there are lots of these trees lining the exit to Canberra. Apologies for the reflections on the glass! Whoops... forgot to post yesterday! Day 24 - I took this photo while at lunch... and my friends laughed at me and rolled their eyes... but when I got home late that night I was so glad I didn't have to take a photo!
