Ow I am so very sorry Parkeyre. I was exactly the same Tuesday morning. I had 11 healthy babies and because I had to put that one angel to sleep, I just bawled all the way home from the vets. Felt horrible for days. I found I was missing out on enjoying the beautiful 11 babies we have. I know Voodoo felt what I was feeling, She kept going to get a toy teddy to make up for the one she somehow knew she lost. Bloody dogs are so instinctual! She knew she was supposed to have 12 in that box!!! I think its a good thing that we feel sad over a loss. It means we are doing this breeding thing for the right reasons because we care so much!!! Although I must admit, I was thinking while driving home, I dont think I can do this ever again. Have changed my mind since then.

So sorry Angelsun. Its so disapointing is'nt it! Best of luck for next time.

Voodoo had her puppies on Monday night She had 12, we lost 1 little boy And now have 11, 4 girls and 7 boys. All doing well.

Well my girl (first litter also & has a very large litter on board) is at day 60 I am hoping for a natural whelping. Fingers are all crossed. The vet (Monash in Melbourne) thinks she will go tomorrow, Monday. I guess we will see.
