I'd like to mention pets1 they are very quick at getting your order to you.

Just wanted to add in - Hudson LOVED this pig.. although it probably only lasted 5-10 minutes before it was in peices, it also has stuffing inside which he couldn't seem to resist once he had chewed it's nose off. Oh dear, really? Abbey just seems to bash it about so much that something must disconnect inside it and stop it making that lovely piggy noise. They are very much intact otherwise.

Those kong air squeekers look good.

So i am wanting to know what are some of the best dog toys out there, im sure we have all tried alot of toys (including boredom relief toys such as kongs) for our dogs. I want to know: What is the toy? Estimated Price? Where did you buy it? How tough was it and how long did it last? How much time does your dog spend playing with it? Ill start.... What is the toy? Multipet Globlets Latex Pig Estimated price? $9.00 Where did you buy it? Woolworths (but you can buy it online but its more expensive) How tough was it and how long did it last? Well it has come up against a black labrador pup who has given it a complete work out, i would suggest being a little bit more gentle if you want it to make it's piggy noise for a bit longer, the toy itself is still in fine condition but the piggy noise can break. We are onto our 2nd one of this toy. Abbey still plays with the original but it now makes no noise. How much time does your dog spend playing with it? She loves it, always grabs it and plays with it. **Edited to include link**

Tara8430 replied to Atanquin's topic in General Dog Discussion
Priceless How cute is Zorrow awww -
I was just looking and snooza have a doughnut bed in their range which seems a bit more washable if thats a key buying factor for you (it is for me) http://www.snooza.com.au/products/cuddler.shtml http://www.snooza.com.au/products/laundry-bag.shtml I've also had one of these for my last Lab which she really loved. Washed up quite well. http://www.gooddog.net.au/town-country-collection.html

Ive got one of the fuzzyard ones for Abbey she loves it, but i would say it hasnt stayed very fluffy, i think it could have had alot more filling. Also unless you have a 8kg washing machine it is a bit hard to wash, my 7kg only just does it. Ive had it since December and Abs sleeps in it everynight, i dont see it ebing very comfortable after another couple of months, for the price i think you would like it to last a bit longer that 6 months. This was when i first got it, she's a bit bigger now, she cuddles up in a little ball in it. Tucks her legs under looks like a little lamb :) The other ones in your first link look okay, im just wondering how we would go washing it as it does look like it has the extra filling that the fuzzyard one is missing. Abbey has a masterpet pillow type bed in her kennel, but considering she can understand just yet (shes a 5 month old pup) that its a good place for sleeping i dont know how it holds up. Im thinking about one of these next: http://www.mypetware...GREY-5-X-LARGE/ Atleast you can wash the cushion in these and just air out the rest of it.

I've had to get a 'go slow' bowl .... Labrador owner
-
Thanks was just curious. Abbey loves it so much she is inhaling it
-
Is the size of the kibble bigger in adult than puppy?
-
$80 for normal$90 for puppy

Got my black hawk on monday - Thanks Leslie
-
What breed is Onyx? He is so cute!
-
No worries thanks. I pick up my puppy bag at end of the month so I'll probably get the chicken after that then.
-
When is the chicken & rice black hawk available? I was just about to get a bag of the original puppy.
-
Im wondering what something like this http://www.vetnpetdirect.com.au/petsafe_outdoor_bark_deterrent might be like on a very short term basis, i think that they would get the hint fairly quickly not to bark. (would love to use it on the dogs in my neightbourhood argh cant people tell dogs to stop barking when they are home)
-
My 4 month old is a bit the same with the barking when not with me at the moment, if she is put into her yard she barks even with toys, also have tried pigs ear a frozen kong shes just not interested unless im in view. Shes not distressed just stating 'let me out now' so im at a bit of a loss also, i dont want her to develop into a barker so im trying to get her away from this behaviour sooner rather than later. I am wanting her down there at this stage while im at work as i need a new fence between me and my neighbour and i dont want her escaping on me. So cant offer any help just a reassurance that my 4 month old is the same.
-
Abbey is a bit the same at the moment, she's been a bit scratchy, more than the usual i hate my collar so im going to scratch it off. Can barely find her skin under her thick labrador coat to see if its dry or anything. Im the same with the sinus MG its been really bad here the past fortnight, alot of privit and things out which are driving me mad. Can only imagine how it makes the dogs feel with all the sniffing they do.

Does anyone know where the best place is to get black hawk in sydney, im coming down next week from blue mountains into the city so anywhere also that route i can stop. Also would it be suitable for a 4 month Labrador pup? She has been on proplan but i havent been satisfied by it, she hasnt got much left now so if i could work out if black hawk would be suitable and slowy move her over to the black hawk.

Oh my goodness
-
I love it. You can meet dogs of many breeds, buy loads of dog products...and generally have a great time. Might have to make drop in, I'll be down in Sydney to see roxette that weekend anyway
-
Is it any good? Ive never been.

My last lab wouldn't eat lettuce either spat it straight out.

My pup has had a loquat obsession this week, she is now on chicken and rice as it became a big smelly problem
