Probably too off track but I was looking at chicken strips in the supermarket yesterday. In woollies there wasn't a single one which had more than 48% chicken! Even then it's guess work what parts of the chicken were used. We have a long way to go in the pet industry when humans are also fed crappy, chemically laden foods and labelling is deliberately misleading.

Poppy is a good team worker. When the dog down the back barks, she'll run inside to see if Maggie is interested and if yes they both tear down the back to bark through the fence. If not, Poppy stays inside ignoring the other dog!

Love that shot of Deniki, especially knowing the fun continued even after the camera came out lol. Went for a walk to find an abandoned railway tunnel and on the way these three orange gums stood out. Sadly defaced with graffiti and I had the wrong lens to show how pretty they looked in a sea of spindly young eucalypt's, but regardless here they are!

I didn't post any photos on the weekend because I'm not liking any photos I'm taking at the moment. If I don't post something I'll be a week behind so this is all I have. I think I need to push myself a little and just see what happens! This is Pepe my Crimson Belly Conure probably checking out his reflection lol

I'd be thinking they don't. Unfortunately expensive is not always good either. Everyone seems to be putting the price of Frenchie's up despite it not being indicative of a great improvement in health. Even if buying from a health testing breeder good chance you'll need to have nostrils widened and soft palate done at great expense anyway. I'm on Frenchie Facebook page and someone had their 3.5yr yr Frenchie pts yesterday after a 40 minute walk on the beach (at 4.30pm, with rests and water breaks) etc. The dog overheated and collapsed. It was going to cost them $3000 a day for up to 3 weeks for treatment. I'm sure they spent many many thousands on their dog but apparently shouldn't have done normal dog like activities with him. It just doesn't seem right.

Ash is very cute! Will he be a working dog now or do you try and find a home which might suit him?
