Hi
My tibetan terrier Charlie who is pure bred 3 years old lives in Caloundra Queensland has developed little round growths like warts where he has been vacinated on his back and also where he has been nipped by our bearded collie during playtime.he has no growths on his underbelly only on his back so I can only assume they are growing from abrasions he has received while playing.one of these growths is about the size of a pea now and I m worried about it.they are not ticks. he has had them for over a year and more are appearing.he has 5 or 6 now only on his back.Is it his immune systems way of coping with cuts and scrapes.I am no expert.I have mentioned it to the vet several times and he was nt sure what it was but advised me to keep an eye on them and not to consider operating unless they get bigger. He charlie doesn t seem to be bothered by them but I am wondering are they just fatty deposits or are they diet related. He has soup bones 3 times a week and is fed dry mix the rest of the time.he is healthy otherwise and fit too.Can anyone help? I can offer pictures.the growths appear small then balloon out from the skin.where they leave the skin they are very narrow then bulge out and are round headed skin coloured like a wart.He loves his sleep and loves to cuddle up with his mom and dad.
thanks
