Is there a problem running a de-sexed male with a girl in season. could he possibly attempt to mate her?? Our boy has been de-sexed for 2 years but is paying a lot of attention to our girl in season at present.

Hi thanks for the suggestions. He used to sleep in a large C crate and of course never weed in there. I like the idea of a belly band too. He is a small terrier jack Russell size. Where is the best place to get one to fit him?

I have a lovely 2 year old male who I am trying to train to sleep in our laundry with our female dog but he almost always does a little wee either in a wall or in corner. Any ideas on how to discourage him to wee where I want him to sleep.

Yes I think you are right there. Good weather makes us all feel better. :)

Thanks for all your replies. Of course today she is having an extra good day, walking around the yard more and even having a little bark with her son. But I know some not so good days will come. I guess we have decided as there is no pain, she is eating and drinking and getting around on her own steam and not messing at night that she is not ready to leave us yet. But not looking forward to making that final decision in the future. We will have to appreciate the time she has left but will not let her suffer. Thanks again.

I have a sweet 17 year old girl who is quite deaf and also her sight is fading. She is still getting herself around the yard with I suspect the help of the other dogs, is eating well and still no accidents at night. We give her anti inflammatory tablets so she has no pain from what we can tell. What bothers me is she has lost her spark and sometimes especially at night can appear a little disorientated. I obviously love her and don't want to pull the plug unless her quality of life is poor. But how do I know? I am interested in others opinion on this topic.

Thanks all for your suggestions. Will try a combination of training and probably rescue remedy.

I have a lovely two year old small terrier who is a very friendly boy BUT can get very excited and over the top when he is with people . He also is very unsettled inside and gets excited and runs around and takes ages to settle. Does anyone know of a natural remedy that helps excitable dogs settle. Not keen on using drugs etc. any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi my guy is a Westie too . Had a vet check recently so don't think it is a health issue. Have tried Pretty eyes and only a small improvement. Just wondering if there was something better to use .

I have a dog with a cream coat that has developed bad stains around his muzzle from saliva. Does anyone know a good way to clean off these stains. Normal dog shampoo has not really helped. Any ideas appreciated.

Has anyone else been able to get into the website for Royal Melbourne show results on Show society site. Keeps saying there is a system problem.

I have a young dog that is hopeless on the stack in the ring and have been told I should use show stackers to help him. I have used my sisters stackers once and he seemed to respond quite well. What is the best way to use these in order to get the best outcome? Any tips appreciated.
