  1. I order them from a NSW Council that has a printing shop, run as a sheltered workshop. They are very prompt, and very reasonable. I get them printed with name of the Club/Society, then we stamp the date and hand-write the number. PM me if you would like further information.
  2. Thank You Rebanne! It has been a challenge! First year for a new team, first year with ozentries, and also Neuters!
  3. Due to delays by Australia Post (took 4 days to "Express" deliver our package to the cataloguer) the envelopes have been posted with passes for the Show, but not your numbers- please pick up numbers in the morning when you arrive. 4. I had several entries from one exhibitor, let's call her A...several days later I had a callvoicemail message from a man with a completely different surname asking for the classes to be changed for 2 of the dogs. He left no contact number, and his call was from a blocked number. On arriving home I looked at the entry forms and they had no phone number at all on any of them. Not knowing these people, i was not prepared to make any change without contact from the owner (I mean it could have been the opposition calling!) I spent quite some time tracking down the owner, finding her on dogzonline- and sent her an email. Her reply was almost rude, and she said she didn't HAVE to put a phone number on her entries. She confirmed the changes, but I emailed her back and told her how much easier it would have been with one simple phone number!
  5. A reminder that Marie needs numbers for this Forum by Monday 20th February!
  6. This is the final reminder for Rylstone Show on February 25th- postal entries will close tomorrow (Tuesday, but ozentries will remain open until Wednesday evening. Don't forget- as always, we have Neuter Classes!
  7. I don't at this stage, but if you email Marie (address on invite) I know she has had some printed, so she should be able to email one to you...if not message me, and I will organise something...

  9. Hi all, Rylstone Kandos (25th February)entries will close for posted entries on Tuesday 7th and ozentries Wednesday 8th, probably at about 9pm. if anyone has a problem getting entries in by those dates, please email me, or phone. Don't forget we have class 18/18a
  10. And don't forget Dogs NSW Western Region Double at Rylstone Showgrounds, 21st-22nd April will also have classes 18/18a
  11. The information on Ozentries is solely what has been input by the exhibitor- you will need to change those details when you enter your next show. The cataloguer has only this information!
  12. Ozentries has a very good support/FAQ option. If you go online you will find the tab "support". I am sure you will find your answer there.
  13. Sofala is quite a bushy ground-and it will depend on whether it has rained as to the condition of the rings. There is plenty of shade, as the rings are surrounded by large trees. It is not a well manicured showground like Rylstone or Wellington.
  14. Surely the aim is to have a consistent pointscore, and not one that changes every single year?
  15. Hi all- Please be advised that the Mudgee Show Committee has revised downward it's Dog Section entry fees- which will now be $10 for the first entry, and $8 for subsequent entries- Sweepstakes and catalogues will remain the same. This information was received after the advertisement had been published. Ozentries has already adjusted the fees. We hope that you will enter this show on 3rd March- all new committee running it! Sarah
  16. Central West NSW- the following shows all have Open neuter Classes: Rylstone Kandos Show, February 25th, Mudgee Show 3rd March (and please note the entry fees to this show have been revised- now $10 for 1st entry, $8 subsequent), Dogs NSW Western Region at Rylstone 21-22 April...and Rylstone Kandos and District Dog Club, end of July
  17. I have run the dog section for Rylstone Kandos Show for 6 years now, long before we had a Dog Club here- this year I will be running 2 other Dog sections (Mudgee and Wellington). They are a great day out for the whole family, and a golden opportunity for us to showcase our pure bred dogs to the local communities. As Libertybrook says, our first non- Ag All Breeds Show in the Central West in 2012 is at the end of March (Lithgow) and for this year only Dogs NSW Western Region in April at Rylstone, so prior to that we have Rydal, Oberon, Rylstone Kandos, Sofala, Mudgee and Blayney Show Societies . We sincerely hope that these shows will be well attended, as they are expensive to run (affiiation/draft schedule/advertisement/sashes and trophies/petrol and accommodation for judge...all for a one day show) and provided the dog sections break even they will continue! S please support us!
  18. Classicyds, what we do at my local show is mark out the proposed walk ways, inform exhibitors that if they have the 6 x 3 gazebos, they are to set up longways, AND nobody can set up before 2.oopm the day before the first Show (usually Friday)- that way the committee can finish their preparation, and mark out walkways, and the 2 metres required around thedy knows, and we don't seem to have any problems! Sarah
  19. Good price, but they just quoted $61 freight intrastate...
  20. I run several shows in Country NSW, and all the shows have had Neuter Classes (18/18a) since they were able to gain points. At one show of 320 entries there were 22 Neuters, and when I spoke to all the owners/exhibitors, it turned out that they had brought other dogs with them too, so there was a huge gain for the Show. The only extra cost, apart from sashes is for the Neuter certificates which are a huge 40cents each! It would be wonderful to have at least class 18 offered at all shows (other Neuter Classes can be added when the numbers grow- which they will!). Do show secretaries consider dropping another class because there are only a few entries- for example Minor puppy? I have been at shows where there has only been 4 dogs in a Minor In Show line up! Neuter exhibitors, please note-the following shows in NSW in 2012will have Neuter Classes- Rylstone Kandos Show (February), Mudgee Show Society (March) Dogs NSW Western Region(April) Wellington Show (May), Rylstone Kandos and District (July)!!
  21. No breed break up...just beautifully printed exhibit cards...should I say handwritten- must have taken HOURS!
  22. Wellington is not far from Dubbo in the Central West of NSW...
  23. Hi all, just letting everyone know that there is a new Wellington Valley Kennel Club! The affiliation was approved at this month's Dogs NSW Board meeting. Secretary is Jenny Bayliss, Rob Daly is President and Toni Daly Treasurer...we should know our Show dates for 2012 by the end of the month- and a website should be up soon!
