  3. Bagnall Beach on Government Rd Nelson Bay is a lovely friendly off leash area, I'm there every day :) Also Birubi Beach at Anna Bay is great They are the only two I know of, I'm sure you could find a nice quiet spot at either this time of year Enjoy your weekend
  4. Looking for some toilet training advice ! We have had our 14 wk old cocker spaniel pup for just over 2wks now & toilet training has been coming along well She was at the point where we could leave the door open & she'd take herself out, having only an occasional accident In the last day or so she seems to have gone backwards, peeing in her crate & just squatting on the rug I know she's still only young but any ideas would be much appreciated Thanks
  5. Our house overlooks the playground & beach access area of Bagnalls beach. So many dogs running & playing offleash right beside one of the busiest roads in Nelson Bay while owners are completely oblivious to their dogs whereabouts
  6. Bagnall Beach in Nelson Bay is a stunning off lead area for dogs

  10. So if some puppies are only given 2 vaccinations can I walk my puppy now if he's had two & is over 12 wks ? She is 13 wks & booked in for her 3rd mid month
  11. Thanks for all the helpful advice ! 1 week in & we've managed to eliminate both the crate soiling & the alarm and now seem to be in a routine with only one wee walk during the night.
  12. How big are they? Each of the squares are 40x40 cm
  13. I've found the artificial grass squares from Bunnings are fantastic on our balcony, both dogs used them from day 1 They sell in packs of 6, plastic bases clip together & grass sections can be replaced if needed. Great wash & wear for balcony spaces
  14. Thank you for the helpful & positive replies ! We had a successful night with no accidents YAY I added a small rolled towel to the crate just in case it was to big, left a dim light on & set the alarm for every 2hrs Dry bed - No accidents
  15. The crate is only 45cm long x 30 wide Indy is a 10wk old Cavalier, I think any smaller & she wouldn't be comfortable I am going to try the alarms tonight
  16. I know it's a big thing being away from mum, I thought I was doing all the right things with the crate all warm & cosy, a little blanket that smells of mum & the placed less than arms distance away from me where she can see, hear & smell me. Thank you tlc the alarm is a great idea, i will give it a go tonight, her crate is big enough for her to stand up, turn around & stretch out in, it's 45x30x35
