oh definatly!! But in situations like this, i used to still go and seek the vets advice before advising anything else over the phone, for my safetly, and the dog in question

our clinic ( well the clinic i previously worked at) would charge out 1 consult at the normal rate, and then charge another consult 1/2 price. Same with vacc's etc etc 1 was full price, the other dog would get its vacc at half the price

so glad to hear hes doing much better, and may be able to come home soon, thats awesum news. I can tell you now, that there is now way in hell he would have been bored in the vet clinic, i know us nurses at our clinic would smooch over all our patients all the time, constantly checking on them, getting in the cage and having snuggles and talks with all our patients, its the best thing for them. I bet chase had the nurses wrapped round his likke paws lol

in summer i freeze treats, etc etc in some chicken stock into a small ice cream container, mine both love that type of thing and it takes them forever to get through. i also put spme peanut butter into a Kong with some treats, seal the end again in peanut butter and also freeze that for a few hrs for them. ive also heard that frozen watermelon is great, and most doggies love it.

obviously working in a vet clinic we have quiet a few clients on vetmedin. However ive never heard of a loss of appetite from vetmedin, have you rang your vet n see what they suggest? Cook Chook will certanly entice your little one to eat. Sorry he has heart troubles
