  1. Thank You so much Peresphone, I will give this a go, as i said it works when she knows she is going to get her dinner, i guess i thought that it would be enough lol seeing as usually she's too smart for her own good
  2. I think it may be something for obedience school, until she comes when called we cant even take her out into the court yard without a leash, as she doesnt return to us when she is called. I'm just not sure on anyways to teach her that her name is Stevie
  3. We do use her name when putting her meals down. we make her firstly sit, then we say her name and she cant go towards her bowl untill she looks at us, this is the only time she responds to her name. We use her name a bit but i wouldnt say too much only when necessary, "stevie, do wee's" "stevie, Sit" etc
  4. Hi everyone, We have a gorgeous pug puppy Stevie, who we have had for just under 2 months now she is 4 1/2 months old now and has finally started to get a grip on toilet training etc but one thing we havent managed to get right is her responding to her name? at no point have we changed her name and as far a I know she was never called anything else all i can think of is maybe she thinks her name is "No" or "uh-uh" lol she does hear those words a fair bit just wondered whether anyone has any suggestions? Thank You In Advance
  5. Thank You all for your suggestions, I will keep trying with her got a pet loo today so hopefully this has more promising results then the pp pads! what fun new puppies can be ey? :D
  6. Hi Everyone! I have a gorgeous little pug puppy that we are trying desperately trying to toilet train she is doing fairly well but i just cant get my head around why sometimes she will do her business on her pp pads and sometimes not? we live in an top floor unit so there is no access for her to go outside on her own, however we do take her out there and she seems to have no trouble wee-ing on the grass, i wondered whether anyone knows if it would help her if we got one of those artificial grass puppy toilets? i guess it is just trial and error but any opinions would be appreciated!!! thank you in advance Stevie's mumma
