  1. Hey guys thanks, yes I did an elimination of sorts on Ella, I found any meat, beef lamb etc or even raw chicken causes her to break out, basically she has the biscuits and tuna or sardines in water as treats. Also we mainly have grass and palms here but we did have tree ferns which she was sleeping under that I found cause allergy so they are cut down. Shes on supercoat for 2 days now and seems a bit unsettled in the tummy but I am sure it will pass soon. She loves the biscuits. Thanks
  2. Hello everyone, I need advice about dry dog food.Years ago we had a Newfoundland showdog and he had to have food that was so expensive, when we stopped showing him I had him on a cheaper dry complete dog food and he was fine admittedly he didnt have a great coat but he was strong and healthy.I had dogs all my life fed on any food plus left overs or tins of sardines and raw chicken now and again. We have another Newfy now,she is 18months old & desexed this one is just a pet not showdog but she is on a expensive top line food designed for sensitve skin as she suffered breakouts over the past summer, she was on a large breed puppy food till 2 months ago. Can anyone recommend a dry complete food that will still keep our girl healthy and give her what she needs? I see Purina Supercoat has a sensitive dryfood also a large breed food too in the range and its price is between the top of the line foods and the bottom cheap foods. My husky was the healthiest dog we ever owned and he only ever ate supercoat dry food.Somone mention Optimum dry food? is this better the supercoat or the same? Thanks
