OMG... I'm shocking.... I've kinda melted away from here a little bit... but have still been taking photos... I just have to get onto the iMac to upload to here.... and I use my iPad 99.99% of the time and my photos aren't on it... I hope you guys don't mind me catching up... I have Lr and PS ... Only just starting to use photoshop... The things out can do are amazing... I like the look of Photoshop Essentials (PSE)

Gorgeous! Yeah my 17-70mm just gets close.... Certainly can't get super detail of bugs! Hmmm, it did make me feel a bit motion sick though! Hmmm, wonders if I 'need' a dedicated macro lens.... Am thinking I like your 105mm? Huga!

Yeah it does help to just go mental and shoot lots using different settings. I find at race meets I stick to what I know works for the most part, then experiment with one thing each time... I find as the race only occurs one, I only really get one opportunity to get that shot.... Bearing in mind I only picked up a camera in January this year. I have found Lightroom has made a difference too, being able to edit, crop, sharpen and de-noise shots . It's all about confidence I think!

That's the joy of capturing the shots TLC, I'll get a spate of sharp as photos, then a few blurry ones (always the best shots) then sharp in the same sequence. Are you using the continuous shutter shot? Not single shot?
