  9. Okay okay... I know I'm early... By an hour! But here's my first photo for the series. Week 1 Rani and Indrah by Whippet Good , on Flickr Taken on my phone! (until I upgrade) Cheers, MnDM
  10. We've been giving our 3 dogs the cold pressed coconut oil, 1tsp per day straight on their food for over 12mths. They love it. (we have small-medium dogs) We had lots of trouble with one of our dogs with skin allergies needing steroids to treat. He's not needed drugs since being on the coconut oil. We get a lot of comments on our whippets and how thick and glossy their coats are. We will keep them on it. A BC could handle a tablespoon with no dramas. MnDM
  11. As I am not likely to be online tomorrow can I post my first pic today? Or is that cheating? Or just sneaky? I am just using my phone until my 7D arrives which may be late Jan.... Gotta order it yet!
  12. Do we start posting our pics in this thread? Or will there be a new one tomorrow?
  13. Damn, I loved seeing your gorgeous Frenchies every week!
  14. Count me in! I'm hoping to get my new Canon 7D soon... Until then it'll just be simple! My theme.... 52 weeks of Animals - Domestic, Exotic and Native! My link is: http://flic.kr/s/aHsjxHkDTk Looking forward to it! MnDM Edit to add link to Flickr. Hoping it works!
  15. Yeah our tuff toy raccoon's tail was busted within 5mins, and the moose was completely unstitched and de-stuffed within 24hrs!
  16. So, so sorry to read this. Am thinking of you both... Hoping his last night is a good one and may he run free with Coco tomorrow xx
  17. Lol, normally she is... But she needs to inspect all the toys first!
  18. Some pics from this mornings Santa Paws arrival Cleanrun mother load by Whippet Good , on Flickr Monet with all the Cleanrun Xmas toys by Whippet Good , on Flickr They love their toys and don't know what to play with first! Sad thing is I have another box yet to arrive... Oops
  19. We gave ours their toys this morning... A few 'indestructibles' have holes in already. Very cute to see them rip into the wrapping paper!
  20. Hi there, I see you mention whippets. I have two of them. They are not small dogs and they jump. Preferring to do zoomies and launching at your crotch with their feet when you get home of an evening. I don't feel they are a breed suited to your small family. They are jumpers, have their zoomies around the yard or house and I have been knocked out and copped quite the black eye from a launching whippets head (see the whippet thread in the sub forums for pics). Jack russells are high energy dogs. Mini dachie or a cavalier would be brilliant for your kids, so would Maltese or shih tzu... It's the grooming of the latter that might be costly. I hope you do find the perfect dog for your family... But whippet puppy wouldn't be it! Even though they are so relaxed when snoozing the day away, they very independently minded and very, very fast! What about rescuing an older whippet who's zoomies would be a little less and they snooze the day away? We have a 5yr old who smashed me in the face... Just an FYI. Cheers, MnDM
