Oh cool! We'll be coming to our first class with a 19mth old whippet! Could be interesting! Lol Do we need anything in particular? I've just realised we don't have a 'show' lead.

Hi, Does anyone know if the show training classes still occur every Wednesday night from 7pm at Bulla, Vic? We may be acquiring a show quality pup as well as desexing our current pup for neuter class.... So we were wanting to see if these classes still run? Thanks in advance! MnDM Edit: we are totally new to dog showing, so are trying to get as much help as possible prior to our first show

Ooooh exciting! I spent all day yesterday taking photos of 6wk old whippet puppies for a friend of mine.... They are too cute but not abstract... They are DE-stracting if anything :). Am editing my abstracts today.... Ooooh gapvic... That's very cool! I'd love to see what you think of it!

Oh shoot... I didn't realise that reveal was Saturday! Hmmmn.... I best get my butt into gear huh!

I just have mine screwed into my 70-200mm lens tripod mount.... I didn't worry about a ball head... though I've heard they are great!!

We had run out of BH for the cats and stopped by store and they'd also run out but were keen to tell us about meals for meows. So we purchased some as it was spouting organic, holistic etc etc. we also have one cat out of four that still has tummy upsets on BH. So thought it might be perfect for her. Well... The cats aren't fans! They pick out the BH, and don't eat the M4M with anywhere as much gusto... Having said that, it doesn't look or smell that appetizing... The BH smells awesome and the cats LOVE it!

Yeah I exported mine as 900px on long side, but just selected x-large when it uploaded on blogger!

Larissa I'm so sorry to hear of your Grandfathers passing ... and can totally understand you not being able to do the photos. Take good care of yourself and join back in when you are ready! Well.... I thought it was all due today, so was madly snapping away this morning.... unfortunately I've not been able to get any human shots.... I only live with one human who is NOT a fan of the camera.... she did come home sick today and I was hopeful for a shot, but it is unlikely! I'm stoked to read that we have one more day! whoop! Has anyone managed to get some human portrait shots?? I can't wait to see them all! MnDM!

Hi, We feed all our crew of 4 dogs and 4 cats on Black Hawk kibble. But on the weekend our store had a new product called Meals for Mutts and Meals for Meows. It is dry food, organic, grain free.... Has anyone used this? And your thoughts on it! Thanks in advance. MnDM

I also wanted to do at least one human.... But I agree... Time is running out....

None of my lenses have IS... I only really use it for the long shoots, as it takes the weight of the lens! And especially if you're photographing something that is at a fairly constant height. Edit: red angel, I love your blue wren capture! I love those birds!

I have a manfrotto monopod, perfect for when you're doing wildlife, bird shots... It takes the weight of the camera/lens... Very quick and easy to adjust and they are pretty light too! I use it when doing dog shots for a long period of time! Highly recommend!
