  1. We have whippet wear coats and they are amazing! One thing, where are you doing up the Velcro, we used to do it up as far back as possible, now it is done up mid back there are no dramas. Though our male doesn't cock his leg, though wets his front legs. Our bitza male has peed on every coat we've ever gotten him!
  2. Thanks for all your thoughts! Much appreciated! Yes in the second shot she was on her way back towards her owners and their other dog. I will re-look at the original, though from memory it was tightly shot. Kja, just trying to figure out which photo you are referring to...
  3. I love the orange picture! Amazing colours!
  4. I have 4 dogs. 8yr old (rescued 2 yrs ago), 6yr old (rescued 18mths ago), 23mth old (rescued 8mths ago) and our puppy who is 6mths who we got at 12wks!
  5. The shutter speed was only 1/1600 as it was so overcast and dark and I wanted to keep ISO under 1600 where possible! Most shots were f4 and ISO 1000-1200. If you're interested in certain shots... I'll get the details of the 4 posted on here ASAP.
  6. Thats what I love most Kristin.... They always have big, bright sparkly eyes and a massive smile! Love seeing owners faces when their dog runs for the first time as well... It is exhilarating!
  7. Yes I do love my beast Linda How's yours doing! Clipper was a real goer, he actually puts his head down when it matters, he was about to nab the lure! MnDM

  10. Hey there Photopro's I took a zillion photos this weekend of the whippet races.... but there are a few that I was kinda happy with... but am wondering if I've done the right thing in Lightroom when processing them. I only did minimal but am curious to hear your thoughts, whether I should leave it, up the ante? These are two photos of the same dog, very sweet who has a deformity and therefore cannot run like a whippet can! I was trying to capture some 'in the moment' shots for her owners. I am aware that I chopped her ear off in the head shot (grrrr) and the background of her body shot isn't the most appealing.... okay, here goes Bindy - head study Bindy from the back I'm open to thoughts from everyone!! Thanks in advance! Meagan :)
