  1. Pup's breeder never mentioned it, puppy was with 4 littermates, Mum and Dad when we took him, I think he spent all his time outdoors with them so the breeder wouldn't know. He has chew toys, rope toys, soft toys, squeaky toys and when he starts i just push him away and say "no Dex" firmly.
  2. Hi there, Just got my new puppy yesterday, Dexter (Toy Poodle), 7 weeks old. Had a great night and great day today, he's settling in really well. The only thing I'm not too happy about is that he is doing that humping thing on all our legs. Isn't that meant to start a bit later than 7 weeks old. Is there anything I can do about it or do I just try to discourage it? He's too early for desexing isn't he? I'm just worried that even after the desexing that it will have already become a habit that he won't be able to break. Thanks in advance for any advice.
  3. Hi Everyone, I'm new to the forum. I'm just about to get my toy poodle pup, he'll be 8 weeks old. I've looked into feeding BARF but I'm also leaning toward dog food. If I choose to go with dog food, which is the best quality to feed my pup and also which is the best dry food to give him? What treats can I give him when I'm training him, everything on the market looks too large to give my tiny pup. Also, toilet training, I'm seeing a lot of info on here about crate training. We were planning on sleeping our pup in a dog bed in our sunroom from Day 1 but how do you toilet train them during the night when you don't know if you're puppy is whining for it's mum or for the toilet? I'm very confused. Thanks in advance for any advice.
