If she did sue and won there is a possibility that council would review their off lead park maybe of even closing it down to dogs as to avoid further cases. Other councils may follow suit. It all goes against us the general public and spoils the fun for future generations. Remember the good old days of rollerskating and mega playgrounds? All shut down due to public liability

It's not like they were aggressive, they were simply playing. It was an accident. I don't think anyone's responsible. Why is it these days someone always wants to blame someone else.

is it a brand new car? I ask this because brand new cars really smell. The new plastics ect give off fumes for a few months. I once went on a roadtrip in a newish car and was carsick the whole time...never happened in any other car since.

I have read all the relevant info on vaccinating and not vaccinating. After that I made the decision not to vaccinate every year as recommended by my vet but to titre test instead. Then began my journey to find a vet that even knew what titre testing was and one that would happily do it without it costing me an arm and a leg. In my town I had zero success with that so I rang around vets further afield...again zero success. So I caved into pressure and got his yearly booster. Not happy but least I tried

I did ask him how he figured it to be true, you know, seeing how dogs have been killing animals and eating the raw for quite some time but he obviously knows something I don't! Don't feed your dogs raw meat...it will give them worms.

To me being buried locked up in an airtight box is horrible...like my worst nightmare. I'd rather they just dig a hole and chuck me in so the worms and other bugs can eat me and help to bi-degrade my body. Ew why am I talking about this even? sorry

Dogs noses are amazing...how bout all those druggies that try to smuggle drugs into the country by wrapping them well and hiding them in linings of suitcases ect....dogs find them. And re the cadaver dogs...how do they get them to just find the human dead bodies?

After ringing around trying to find a vets receptionist that actually knows what titre testing is, then getting the crazy quotes I finally caved in to pressure and got my dog his yearly vaccination...again. On speaking to the vet during our consult he said that yearly boosters possibly weren't necessary but until we have 100% proof we still need to er on the side of caution. He said it was the drug companies who would loose out and this is all partly their fault. Titre testing is just too complicated having to send it overseas. It's a conspiracy!

You know what I hate...because of all these blasted scams we tend to trust no-one. So therefor when it's genuine I am suss and hang up anyway...so too bad if it's a genuine call

There was a mobility scooter mentioned, but I'm not sure how well something like that would go on a high energy breed like a boxer. I can see it getting caught up on stuff and doing more harm than good. As a young dog/pup it seems to be doing very well atm, and seems happy, but yes it will be interesting to see how this dog copes as it ages.

Does it have to be Christmas themed? We won last years Christmas party dress up with this... And yes I get peeved that there are no Christmas outfits for larger dogs...SO UNFAIR! Why should little dogs have all the fun!

There was a topic on here once that spoke about the use of deceased dogs from pounds, shelters and vets that were used (or recycled if you like) into dog food. I know it's a heap of tripe and is just not true. But I was wondering where that particular thread went? There is someone on FB making claims this happens in Australia and I want to point them in the right direction. Thanks

I had the Wahl Cordless. I used them once, only on my dogs face. That was it kaput! I took em back to the store I bought them from and got a full refund. So just make sure you keep the docket

so cute...love it. Boxers have such expressive faces. But I don't get the end bit with a different dog laying on the lounge...did they go out and get another dog?

so if dogs are banned from footpaths what's a dog walker meant to do? Walk on the road and be a nuisance to traffic or risk getting run over?
