http://caninepancreatitisbreakthroughs.com/ You could try this website out.. Bull terriers do have problems with Pancreatitis, I have never personally had to deal with it and do not know that much about it, but A friend in the USA brought this book and swears by it.. I can only suggest your friend take a look and see if it is a worth while thing for there furry friend.. As I said I do not know anything about it or the recommendation from this website, but worth a look I guess.. Good Luck

Any One Purchased A Hydrobath Recently?
Max replied to JulesP's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
No definitely A&T hydro-baths.. Just did a search and the results were:" This new element protection kit allows all existing heated BARF Shop (& previous A & T) Hydro baths to be fitted with an element...read more. ..." My friends got the new bath just as Barf shop took over.. My old and new one still has the Onga pump.. My new bath would be 5 years old now as well(so not so new LOL) The A&T hydrobaths sticker is still on the side of my old one.. Maybe they have changed there design since, but my new one has not scratched and that has been borrowed a few times as a back up when a bath was down for repairs.. I can only comment on the 2 baths I have here and I have had no probs with them and find them easier to use than the others.. I have used other brands, but found they were not short person friendly I am also over 7 months pregnant and can still comfortably bath my dogs with my bath.. -
Any One Purchased A Hydrobath Recently?

I have 2 baths.. The first I have had for around 8 years from I think it was a&t hydro Baths and then the BARF shop took over. They used the same material and design.. I purchased another one from a friend that got the newer one.. They are so easy to use come on wheels (so don't have to stick them in the one spot) and the wheel set up was standard, so did not have to pay extra.. My 8 year old bath dose not have scratches in it and for awhile it was used in a commercial set up and has been use by me for my own dogs.. So I don't know why one would say they scratch so easy mine has not got any?? I highly recommend them and they were easy to deal with and no probs when I wanted some modifications.. They were more that happy to do them for me.. Can't stand the other hydro baths, to bulky and not as easy to set up and use.. well that's what I found anyway.. -
My puppies are all done at 6 weeks and I do it for myself!! As someone stated, you can try to find the best homes, but sometimes things don't turn out that way and if the dog ends up in the pound, I will be notified and can then take responsibility to get that puppy before it moves on to who know s where!! I have been lucky and know all of mine are safely in the homes they went to at 10 weeks old, but you just never know.. My Bullie babies were to busy playing with the food they were give by the vet to worry about the quick Jab.. A breeder that does not chip before selling, doesn't want the extra expense or doesn't care for the welfare of the puppies??. Why bother breeding if you don't care where your puppies could end up with no way of identifying them?? As for what state scan for chips, what if the puppy ends up in another state.. I would still do it for my peace of mind compulsory or not..

Hi BD, I have only just come across your post.. Glad to see things have worked out for you It's sad that you have had so much trouble with the Bullie Mum's.. I have been blessed with good mum lines with my girls.. My first Bitch whelped (naturally) 11 pups first litter and did everything for them.. She was a brilliant mother and hated to leave her kids.. We would have to carry her outside to make her go to the toilet .. Her Daughters have been great Mum's as well.. Her white Daughter only had 2 litters and was De-sexed and rightly so!! 11 in her first and 12 in her second :D She also did everything for her kids and whelp both litters naturally.. Her coloured daughter had 8 babies for us and also was great.. Now her Daughter has had a litter, but that was not with me and people do things differently.. I do not take the Mum away from her Babies at all.. We also have a special whelping box... It has 2 parts and it's like a trampoline bed.. The bottom part has dowel sticking up and we stretch Hessian over the dowel and then put the top on which fits into the towel (hole drilled and matched to the bottom). This way if the Mum rolls on one it is not getting squished to a hard bottom of the whelping box and the babies fall naturally into a hole in the middle and Mum sits comfy with no pressure sores from laying on a hard surface.. As the babies grow and don't need Mum, we take the Hessian off and its back to a whelping box, but with none of the dangers as Mum is finished doing her thing.. Just a though for you for next time.. Oh and we have never lost a puppy from being squished using this whelping box.. Goodluck with your now, little

Guess I'm lucky!! Have been with the same vet for 4 years now(since moving here). He Vaccinates for $22, includes health check. He checks hearts, patellas, mouths, ears, eyes and the general well being of the dog, weight for age, breed and such. Micro-chips (I do the whole litter) I think was $20 a pup.. He does do breeders discount. He has become a good friend, and I pay his wages LOL

Nothing like a real man boys.. What's the use in sitting down and crying on your own.. A real man would sit down and cry with you of course.. My man loves quiche.. I dropped my bundle the other day, over a doggie matter.. Dave was right, untill he see me in a state and that was the end of him....Real men iron to :D
