I have a Golden retriever (10 m.o.) who has just started losing large clumps of her fur from her Hinderquaters. This only started today, and so far has lost about 4 handfuls of fur Any ideas ?

We have a 9 1/2 week Golden Retriever and are just wondering how long she should be sleeping ? She sleeps all night. Plays for a bit in the morning, around lunch, a bit at night but sleeps for the rest of day. All up she plays for about 3 1 hr blocks at the most and even then she is only very. hyperactive for about 1hr per day. Is this normal.
