Would someone be able to help me understand (new to showing here) If I take my Australian Shepherd - Baby Puppy dog (only 3 and a half months at this show) Which day or days would I need to be there?

Loads of pics of my new arrival - "Hudson" Dykinta Night Maestro! We are going through a bit of a mouthing phase at the moment, but he is doing pretty well really!

Hudson is turning into a naughty little guy at times! Still love him to pieces, especially times like now when he is curled up asleep next to me on the couch! When he gets excited and playful in the backyard he gets very jumpy and is sooo mouthy! He bites everything all the time, and I am just trying to work out the best way to stop him, as when he gets a bit older it will really hurt!

Here is the little guy I have been waiting for! This is Dykinta Night Maestro (Hudson) - coming up to 9 week old Australian Shepherd dog. He will be making his show debut at Gunnedah on the 10th of September. Not the best photos, but this was his first attempt at stacking and not the best lighting! He has the most amazing eyes! Blue on the outside and brown on the inside! He is doing so well so far and we have started a tiny bit of show prep training I can't wait to get into the ring now!

Congrats to everyone getting their puppies! It is so worth the wait, even if they take almost all your time and energy! :D Hudson is testing me, but also the most fun and loving little thing ever, I wouldn't change him for the world and I am so glad I waited for the right dog for me!

Hudson came home today! Will get photos on here asap, he is so gorgeous! He was soo good in the car on the way home, he has cried a little tonight but seems pretty settled in his crate now, so we will see how we go!

What about Comfortis? It is a tablet so no smell, and it works fantasticly!

Leaving for NZ tomorrow, then a week till Hudson comes home!

From what I last heard was that Hendra virus was found in something close to 30% of all bat populations in Australia, and this covered the entire mainland, so not just coastal QLD and NSW. It is very sad about the dog, but we just don't know enough about it so say with 100% certainty that the dog may not shed the virus down the track, now what a terrible tragedy that may have been.

Yeap that is beautiful! I really wanted the camera in order to take piccies of my new pup, but I think I would be better off saving for the better camera and just waiting at the moment. Although they will probably bring out the 'newer' version of the 7D soon if the price is dropping I think the 7D will be all I will need for a while!

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it any more, but perhaps next year when we are not in the baby puppy group.. seems like a huge show for a baby, and I can't drive there and back in the 1 day I might be able to get off work.

MTD you mustn't live far from where I used to as a kid! I have only recently moved to Dubbo from Gympie, so also not too far away! Great photos of Mt. Cooroora!! Makes me homesick! It also reminds me of the time my friends and I thought cllimbing Mt. Tibrogargan with a hangover was a brilliant idea. :D Certainly worth it for the view though, and so glad I did it now before I moved.

I really wish I were coming to Albury too, aside from all the great info I would really like to meet so many of you! Maybe we will be able to meet at another similar event another year? I am physically picking him up from the breeder, although I will only see her husband as she will be out showing that weekend. I will continue to keep in touch with her over email and see if she can give me any tips through there. I found some nice jackets at Millers today on sale I haven't bought any yet because I thought I would see if it would be acceptable. They are solid coloured and similar to a trench coat in style but shorter? So not a suit jacket, but still seems to be quite smart?

I will do that I can't start with my little guy till early-mid September (I don't even have him home yet!) but I will be excited to see how you go!
