Thanks! It would be awesome to catch up, will have to try and remember my camera this time too! I am not going to be at Hunter, going to Kangaroo Valley instead, but will be at the EP shows both nights. :D

Here is my one and only.. ready to try and get him back onto the Rising Star leader board again this year! He has really changed a lot from those first 3 months last year. :D DYKINTA NIGHT MAESTRO "Hudson" Now just turned 8 months old, he has had his first two outings in Minor and has come home with a Reserve Dog Challenge and a 2nd in 6-12 month sweepstakes. I occasionaly have people who are interested in breeding because they now own a 'purebred'. Only to then find out they are a X bred with some paperwork given by the breeder that apparently are it's 'papers'. :/

I am so glad the mud seems to fall out of Hudson's coat too! :D Still always go.. OMG when he comes up to me looking like a mud monster though!

I am actually considering starting to import some suits.. This seems like an area where there is quite a bit of interest? How much on average do you guys pay for a new suit?

Thanks for all the ideas and help guys! The opposing force doesn't seem to do much for him, but I have been tempting him forward and trying to catch him with the click before he physically walks forward. He seems to be a little different in the ring too, he sunk down a little in the hindquarters when I was moving his hind legs, but that was just the once, otherwise was much much better than at home!

I was in and gone by the time the rain came by the sounds of it. :D Hudson had a great morning, first time in with the big boys in Minor and he picked up reserve dog challenge! So proud of him, I think he remembered what to do!

Awesome, it is just 5 hours for me to drive.. and It would suck if my little fluffy dog and I had to stand in the rain all day! :p Yeap, I have a gazebo so that is no worries. Yes it seems like a massive show, going to be great to see the grounds and have a run round the ring before Saturday. :D

Is it raining a lot there at the moment? I have never been to these grounds, if I got there early in the morning is there usually room to set up? Dont want to make the drive if I'm just going to get soaked with no gazebo! :p

Hey guys, I am trying to get my entries in on time for a show, and I have always entered through Ozentries and have never had to send in entry forms individually. I only got my checkbook today and really need to have them sent tomorrow due to the public holiday. Is there an entry form online somewhere I can copy down? Is it ok to hand write them, or do I need to print one out from somewhere? Unfortunately for this show I don't have time to order an entry book from dogs nsw. Starting to stress that I might miss out on a nice local (for me anyhow) show! - Elise

Hey guys! I am not sure if this is the best place to post this, but I am hoping for a few ideas suggestions from more experienced trainers/exhibitors! Hudson has had close to 3 months out of the ring now, and I have been training with him again trying to get a more solid stack and we have hit a few road blocks. In the gap between showing, he has started sitting whenever we stop. I am getting this a lot better now and crossing fingers he gets the idea by this weekend. But my other problem is he is sinking backward in the stack to almost an a-frame position. I have tried trying to lure him forward but he always breaks before he comes up over his front legs, and if I move his front legs back - the hind legs are too much underneath him. He is entered in the NSW Puppy of the year this weekend, and I have been trying for a while now and obviously not going about this the right way, so was hoping to try and do something a little different before this weekend! Any ideas? Surely I am not the only one this has happened too with a young dog? He is my first ever show dog. :D He used to stack like a little champ (guess I was spoiled!) This is the best shot I could get the other day, so usually a bit worse than this

I entered my first Royal! Now to organise entries for the Australian Shepherd speciality as well. :D I am so excited, but Hudson and I have a bit of work today after our 2 month holiday!
