Hi, I lived on Mountain rd Cockatoo for many years and once lost my B/C. He had managed to find his way to the reserve (where we oftened walked) thru thick bush over 1 klm away, and at midnight! May I kindly suggest (if you haven't already) check thru the bush in the direction you take her for walks. I know there are mine shafts and wombat burrows in your area so try and check some those. I'm praying for your girl.

Had the same problem when I convertd a bedroom into my massage treatment room at home. I had to protect my carpets from oil. I just covered the floor with MDF (thin sheets of chip board) then bought cheap lino off the roll from Bunnings.I cut the lino to size and didn't even glue it down. Think the whole thing cost approx $150. Might be worth a good nights sleep. Hope this helps

Oh Gayle, My heart just leapt! Always said I wanted a dog with Bracken's looks and a blue eye. And you have her!!! Now if I could just find a boy like that and I'd be one very happy girl. Thanks for posting your beautiful pic. Give Shae a cuddle and kiss from me. Shae came to me at the age of five, she's from Borderton Kennels in WA. She was returned to them twice because her previous owners either didn't want her or couldn't keep her. When she came here, she was fat, her coat had been clipped almost to the skin by her previous owners and she walked with a stiff legged gait. That was in Feb this year, her most recent owner had dropped her off in Perth on their way to Dubai. Now she is fit, slim and has the most amazing coat and she is SOOOO beautiful. And she has two herding titles! I am so proud of her, I took her to a herding clinic at Easter and the first time she was given sheep to herd, it was like the last piece of a puzzle clicked into place. This little dog (and she is tiny, much smaller than any of my other dogs) grew in stature and presented this commanding and purposeful presence and all her instincts told her what to do. Since then we've entered trials and she has an absolute blast. She is adorable, like a little muppet although she's a feisty brat sometimes but she's just the most fun in the world to live with. She has turned into such a stunner I'm thinking about entering her in neuter classes in dog shows. You have done a beautiful job with her. she looks like one happy little girl. I cant imagine how people could have treated her so poorly. Well it looks like she has found her piece of heaven now. How happy and healthy she looks! Also isnt it a beautiful thing to behold when a dog see its first herd of sheep and the penny drops! Amazing! May you and Shae have many happy years together. I lost Bracken suddenly 5 weeks ago to a brain tumour. He was only 10yrs . Really to soon for my liking. I'm fishing around for a new puppy now to do obediance. Hopefully I will find something as beautiful and stunning as our Shae and Bracken.

What a beautiful Aussie Braken was. Where did Braken come from? Thank you, Bracken was a truely beautiful dog and is sorely missed. He was a 'Walkabout'dog.

After owning and loving BCs for many years I then became the proud owner of an Aussie.(Bracken) Bracken has sadly just recently gone to the rainbow bridge and I'm now looking for another Aussie. I'm just madly in love and hooked on this beautiful breed. Still love Borders but I spotted my first Aussie pup over 20yrs ago and told myself I'm going to own one of those one day. Now I'm looking for my second one to love. Whats that saying about potato chips and Aussies?

My beautiful boy was gently and peacefully released from the horror he had endured over the last 6 hours. I take comfort from the fact that he recognized me for a brief moment and licked my hand. Such a good and loving boy. 'Not Of My Flesh and Blood, But Of My Heart And Soul' , Thank you for the privilege of being part of my life. I love you and will miss you terribly till we will meet again at the rainbow bridge Good night sweet man, no more pain. xxx VagarryPark Bracken CDX 21/03/01 07/10/11 Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts and prayers. Please say a prayer for my beautiful Aussie, Bracken. I found him this morning convulsing in the back yard. He is being assessed at the moment and they suspect a brain tumor. I may have to make the horrible decision to have him PTS this afternoon. The wait is horrendous as well as not being with him...My poor baby.. j.j.
