Such an influential member of Taronga's chimpanzee community, I'm sure her loss will be felt deeply by many. She was such a sweet old soul, I am so sad that she is gone. Thinking of Lulu's caregivers and her chimp family at this sad time. Rest peacefully Lulu sweetheart. xx

That's sad. Our white-cheeked gibbon, Viet, lost her first baby. I hope things will go better next time for Taronga's gibbons.

Oh my goodness, the capybara babies!!!! :D They are beyond cute, I can't wait to see them in person! I love your gibbon pictures as well, especially the top one and your picture of Nhu (she is so darn cute!).

Hooray! I'm looking forward to seeing Viet's new bub on Sunday. It's great news for big sister Nhu as well! :D Such a beautiful family, I love them. :)

I am so sorry you and your lovely dogs had to go through that, how awful! Sending healing vibes to Maddie and Stan, what a horrible experience to have to go through.

I've no personal experience with them myself, but a Brittany might suit?

Would a Borzoi suit? I only know one personally , but she would certainly fit with most of your criteria. The only drawback I can really think of is shedding, which is more than my Saluki but then my Saluki hardly sheds at all.

It was so funny! It seems, to the Saluki rules are there to be broken! She jumped the fence out of the track when she'd finished her run as well- it's a good thing she's got a good recall! Bella usually isn't much of a jumper, but I guess lure racing gets her all excited.

I watched it a while back, and really enjoyed it. I can't remember it much (I know I enjoyed the Saluki bit though!), I think I'll have to watch it again- thanks for the link. :)
