It is not an offense if the dog is protecting property.

Should I Leave The Puppy Out With The Big Dog?
Tralee replied to pare's topic in General Dog Discussion
I wouldn't My 45-50kg dogs would never be left with a puppy 5 months old, whatever weight it was. Not unsupervised anyway. Dogs copy and you want to make sure they are getting the right example. Play is a concern when you are not around. They don't see the difference in sizes at all. -
I'm surprised you remembered! I'm still waiting for my ECS. Already on the waiting list of one of the most respected ECS breeder in VIC. My pup should arrive Feb-March 2013. My gf and I were bored and decided to visit the RSPCA and take a look. That little fellow some how connected with us. There are a lot of uncertainties here. Not the least being that the breeder may not have the dog you are waiting for, afterall. As regards the impulse adoption of an animal because you were bored, I find that very disturbing. As to how many checks and balances the RSPCA can put into their adoption procedures, I think more education and less regulation might be the way to go. Certainly, I would not like to be stymied while seeking to procure a dog. Good luck anyway

What bird is that? Is it an East Coast Eagle? :D

In Celtic mythology, Arawn rides with his white, red-eared hounds (the Cwn Annwyn or Hounds of Annwyn) through the skies in autumn, winter, and early spring. Arawn Bladewyn Chalice 19:07:2008-25:08:2012 My dog centred guardian, A companion divine, Has courage and loyality, Far greater than mine. Arise fair, in Autumn, At the baying of Hounds, And make clear our path, To bring wrong to grounds. Go now, find your Hounds, Who rule Annwyn skies, Be swift, take your station, And ring out your cries. And forgive us, our faults, As we forgave yours, Run proud with Arawn, On white, feathered paws. Be there to great us, Big Bro, Mum and Dad, And when you see Daddy, Please don't be mad? Somethings are forewritten, To which we are witness, Like your window to Heaven, And a 'time out of time' princess. All our love, forever, my cherry pink angel.

Be advised that the free version is limited to only sixty records. Want anymore and you have to buy it. I know this as I have bought it and did look into this previously. Also I have just checked the link posted and the site will verify this. Also it may be issued as free for educational use. Many software companies will provide software free or heavily discounted to schools, universities and TAFEs but not to the general public. I knew that. Cost for the upgrade is $20 Practically free

I didn't think you were allowed to use numbers.

Good Morning All The Australian Agricultural Teachers Association (AATA) has kindly emailed its members notification of this free software which is available for breeders of pedigree animals. http://www.kintraks.com/ I think it could be very useful for many of our members too. Regards

Very nice choice of breed Dlaire. I am sorry to have to burst your bubble of complacency but a few weeks of broken sleep will follow the arrival of a new puppy. The development of a dog's temperment in terms of environmental factors is totally up to you now. You need to accomodate your pups needs without causing frustration. Feeding, Toileting and Exercise/Play are completely dictated by exceptionally young pups. Their routine can be gradually modified as they get older and their neurological development increases. Rule 1: Enjoy your puppy. Puppy must feel valued. The rest is in you hands With any dog, the practices and processes adopted by puppy owners wishing to raise their dog as a companion animal or a show dog need to allow the puppy to be a dog first, and a pet second. Regards

Ultrasound will pick them up from 4 weeks. (Can see the heartbeats). Our ultrasounds at four weeks also show 2cm skeltons and beating hearts.

Hi Dlaire Do you have a number of new puppies or are you nursing a litter? When you say 'my little puppies' your situation seems unclear. T

Hi GeorgieB It could just be the result of previous worming. Better out than in. This from my dogs website:

Thanks Prognosis is good. Here is a picture of Zuess convalescing. He is more active, and his appetite has returned. But, we're not out of the woods yet. He has 14 weeks of recovery before an assessment of bone healing. -

I just recently consulted a Reproduction and IV specialist. He informed me thta after mating there are no restrictions on the dog's normal routine. However, I would not deliver any meds after mating, including anitbiotics, unless it was a 'life or death' situation. Regards -

There should not be any confusion. Maybe you need to follow more closely. He is not my dog and there was no money to pay for the surgery. Under these circumstances, given the restraints I faced, I would say the time taken is conservative. Perhaps you could find $5000+ for someone else's dog in less time. Regards -
