Ive NEVER known her to do anything like this, she got into another litter once but just lay with them, I really dont know why she attacked it..I will be 100% more vigilant etc now. im so upset. Tigga dosnt seem upset, so Im not sure she has really noticed? Only consilation (if there is one) is that the eyes and ears wernt open yet so they didnt have 'personalities' yet...as sad as this is it would have been SO SO much worse it they were older..

Tradegy here: My brittany got into the whelp room and savages a pup, lost him to two puncture wounds. Rushed down to vet but it was too late, i am devestated. Missy is in a crate and Im not talking to her right now. (mum bitch was out on potty break)

Just remember they could be a tad worried or stressed about the pups/dam and have plenty on theyr mind...

I agree relax, she sounds like she is doing fine if she is still playing and walking Shes still getting some food in, some dogs wont touch anything at all! (my bitch went right off for a few days so I got some nutrigel on my finger and just wiped it on her hew tounge. (made me feel better I think!) (First litter? )
