I am after a 35cm coat for our little elderly, dodgy maltese. She is very thin (thats just her, we had testing done) and now she is getting older she is shivering alot more even inside (she only goes out to toilet) I am after good links for dog coats not too expensive, and probably just the softer ones? Or if anyone has a second hand one they want to sell?? I got her a Wag wear one off ebay, but it was too small (I guessed her size as I couldnt find a tape measure) so shes got this tiny coat on like a vest! She likes it though, but I want one to cover all her body!

While I am opposed to BYB I admit before I got fully involved in the dog world I was very naive (true I didnt want to breed but I had no idea of genetics and a good dog etc) I DO think the OP is being responsible for her level of knowledge and obviously cares about her pet. Ok she made a mistake and too was naive...BUT she is sucking it up, rolling here on DOL with the puches AND instead of getting offended and huffing off, she is TAKING advice and we may end up with another ethical, reponsible breeder OR she will see it is better to desex after the whelping. Please, please DO not scare her off, back off and let her get on with it. Some great advice has been given and more will come and the OP is responding positivly, she has seen her mistakes and understands how people feel here. Not me but I will never forget it, 2008 EKKA (Bris Royal) the Sharpei that wouldnt walk LOL Judge asked for an up and back, dog walked a metre, them lay down, owner tugged on leash, nope not budging, owner came up to it and prised it offf the ground them proceeded to gait again, dog walked a few steps, then ..lay down..owner prised it up again...this carried on for the entire up and back, far out it was so funny, guy ended up picking up said dog and gaiting out of the ring with it in his arms, got a standing ovationa and a round of applause!!

Man this has been a terrible litter for me, Liver shunt test came back with one very high, had a syntigraphy and yup confirmed a shunt and another problem, after a disscussion with my vet we opted to put pup down (10 weeks) and follow with an autopsy. This was done at Werribee Uni vet so pup was used as a teaching case, so i guess that is positive anyway. Still its sad to know a pup you have lovingly reared is now in rainbow bridge way too early. So out of a litter of 5 I ended up with 3 The boy I was going to run on went to the home the shunt pup was supposed to be going as I couldnt let them down (Im a real softie!) he will have a super life though with the two little girls Sigh, guess thats breeding though right? Now I am pretty sure where this LS is coming from so I am steering away from now...

I feel ill, this child is in danger, get her removed NOW , sorry but the child is my number one concern in this story, NO child deserves to live like this. Baby in the middleof dog fight... baby that got chewd up left unsupervised with puppy (there have been many news reports..)

I presume they will have signs? I hope so or Im stoofed! Did anyone get two sets of number s or just one??
