Puppy farm much...omg... These are the 'registered breeders' that make ethical ones look bad. If you are after a show dog, these are not what you are wanting! Miles away from any standard I'm aware off... Sadly they are going into frenchies too..gee I wonder why, could it be the price puppies bring??? Wonder if the benders of those young dogs are aware they are part of this mill now?

Im more worried it will start a new craze of wanting 'teacup dogs' But other then that and amazing trainer and a smart wee cookie!!

I think it depends a lot on the individual dogs personality too..

Results? I got down the calder and my car shat itself..have just got home after hubby rescued me, went and got a car trailer and then towed car back to his work..so no showing for me this weekend.....

Pups are so fat and gorgeous! My pet hate and Ive had two recently..people that expect you just to sell them a pup because you have one, or lie to you to get one... ie: I wont sell to QLD anymore unless I amd 100% comfortable with it as there have been quite a few Cairn pups in pet shops and BYBing up there..so guy rings from qld..I tell him Im not freighting pups up there anymore...so he says he will drive down..I say, Um no, not while there is a MASSIVE parvo outbreak in NSW and you cant toilet on way back...I did however direct him to two NSW breeders that have pups...he then dropped the bombshell, oh we just got one from ............ last week! WTF?!! I then cut the conversation short and said, I cannot help you, thank you. and hung up....really really makes me cross, firstly he was NOT listing to me and my reasons for not sending a pup and then B he neglected to tell me he already had bought one elsewhere.... Far out...we are not pet shops! We do not have to rush around to sell sell sell...Im never in a rush and wait for a suitable home! Just had to have a vent...

Yup thats it PME :) Yarracully, that sounds nice...mmmm We are second group on so I am leaving tomorrow morning, first show in AGEEEES for me...Just finished grooming dogs that looked like pound puppies! PME if you want to handle a cairn or too come and say hi! ;) Group 2, big prego lady, lol! Looking forward to a weekend with no kids, not fussed over winning or losing just looking forward to a break! LOL!!

There is not much in Lake Boga, but Swan Hill is not far and thats a booming town. Its not the footy oval, but on google maps its the cleared area with the shed type things in the corner on the Road its advertised at, there is a skate park where you turn in. I believe it will be quite wet underfoot even if it dosnt rain...and cold...its always cold..lol Good Luck!

Just reading back on posts, seems to be the thread to loose a pup, at least they can all meet up in Rainbow Bridge and be a pack of naughty babies together, makes me feel a bit better. Sorry for everyone elses losses

Congrats!! We had pups on the 7th, 6 boys and a girl, sadly I awoke this morning to find the smallest one (born less then half of his siblings) had passed away overnight. All the others were born at the heavy end 230g ... so Im wondering if they took all the good stuff in utero...? The whelping wasnt fantastic, I had to actually fish out number 1 as she wasnt progressing (I had my vet on the phone) I am a nervous wreck when I whelp but boy I was so nervous!! All ended well, mum is on antibiotics for a few days, but is happy and well and other pups are fat and thriving. Glad this was her last litter!! Reminds me that pups are not for the faint hearted!! First time I have used the heated whelping box and I have bearly heard a peep, all are so happy and content, when mum gets too warm she hope out and lies beside my bed and all pups keep happily sleeping. Mum hops back in and they awake and migrate towards the milk bar! lol!

just getting bigger..lol Nothing happening yet :) But she sure knows where she wants to have them..Ive been worried letting her out into the big part of the backyard as there are a few places she can go under...but as soon as she wees and poos shes back up at the door saying ok im done and its cold and takes herself back to the whelping area! lol!!

Moved my lady to the bedroom now where she will bed down in her whelping area. :) Shes a bit of a whale! I am pretty sure she will go closer to day 58 then 63 for sure! How is everyone else doing?

well my girls tummy has dropped today, was looking at her just before and she is less too the sides and more underneath! I am pretty sure she will go early, but not for another week at least!

hes being fed a lot..but alot of CRAP...what breeder in their right mind would start pups off on that??!! Im guessing it was not a registered one... Anyhoo, agree with above, a premium diet will work wonders for the little guy and you will feed no where near as much as stated above as its all good stuff and you need less :)

ok coming from a cairn person...there are some you just cant gel with..I bred a girl which I ran on to show and we clash big time...I cannot like her at all... They are all so different in personality and sometimes you just cant click. I can always help you out if you need to rehome her :) Have PMd you. Adult cairns are always in demand and you have enough enquiries to pick and choose the best place for individual dog :)

take some friends and their dogs and have an obedience lesson :) Then a picnic and raise your glass to them ;) LOL

Average Joe who wants a puppy won't care. Guy next door won't care. Authorities will not police the newspapers, Facebook, signs at the local shops, they will not be policed at all. The only people who will be policed are those doing the right thing already whether that's registered breeders or puppyfarmers. + 1
