Thanks for all the good ideas every one. I got a sand pitt from BigW yesterday and just have to go to miter 10 for the sand now. I would give him a coke bottle but I'm scared he will eat the plastic. He had some plastic toys that he chewed and some bit got eaten so I'm not to keen on that idea. I would just give him a cardboard box but it goes every where and even some of it ended up in the naighbours back yard :s Im not sure if he is bored or what I'm just worried that he is missing me while I'm out. It's not like him to lie still for 2 seconds normally. I will you all know how the sand pit goes .

I like the sand pitt idea he likes digging at the beach so he might like that. Yep he has balls and lot of toys and plays with them when I'm home but just not when I'm out. I have seen those blue shells for sale at BigW but where would I get sand

I tired that one he loves peanut butter but he licked it and when he had to get into to it a bit more he gave up and it melted every where

Hey guys just need some toy ideas for zorro while im at work. At the moment I give him a pigs ear to chew and 2 toys to play with ( I change them around), but I don't want to give him a pigs ear every time. I have tried kongs with different stuffings but he give up on those apprently it is just to hard, also been giving him chicken flavored ice cubes but they go quickly. He likes destroying things like ripping up cardboard, and I make sure there is nothing in the yard he can chew that is dangerous. And I know he dosen't ay with his toys when I'm out Andy my OH is in and out of the house all day ( self employed ) and apprently he just sleeps by the gate all day till I get home. OH will throw the ball for him for about 1/2 hr while he is having lunch and making phone calls. But I would like to get or make him some toys he really love to play with when I'm not there?

Our rental says if we have pets the carpets my be flea treated before we leave and we must pay for any damage done. Simple

That's kinda hard for me my dog loves everyone

Gsp are good dogs, my sister had one called badger he was there when she had her 2 kids and was great with them when thy where growing up, they are full of energy and need to be taught recall from a very early stage. ( badger had a thing with running of after birds and rabbits) But they are lovely dogs and badger was never aggressive with anyone a really sook

I dunno why they used capsicum spray why not get a proper tranquilizer that is made for animal control. I feel your pain I can't walk down my street with out some dog running around out the front of it property and not inside or in its fenced back yard it sh!+$ me poor zorro is such a whimp he runs behind me with his tail tucked poor thing ad it's not like the dogs that are let out the front of the property are nice dogs they are all aggressive only one dog that is lovely an just lies on the grass snoozing

Poor dog he might have been gentle but if he found him self in a strange place being a guarding breed he would have reacted and the lady could have been screaming or acting scared that would have made him panic more and once all te council ranger came along the poor dog would have been terrified.

Putting the dogs behaviour aside I wouldn't want to go back because of the pushy behaviour of the breeder I hate pushy people and I would feel like she's not really interested in the best homes for them. But that's how I would feel like I said I hate pushy people

Our GSD was all over us at 7 weeks old and he or his litter mates never has much human contact but his mother and father where both lovely dogs. I would be concerned about the mother too.
