glad to hear your both okay. i hate uncontrolled dogs to they are everywhere here and they are always aggressive, i agree with the others in saying phone the council anyway then at least they know about it.

this!!!!!. when it asked me about what type of food i just clicked home cooked as i thought that would cover raw food as i make it myself.

Well that was one interesting day on Tuesday!! started my shift a woolies was about to be handed the keys so the supervisor could have her lunch and all i see is this cream blur shoot down the Aisle. i go and have a look and its a dog so next thing is ti get the dog out, one of my staff managed to shoo the poor girl outside while i ask if the owner was in the store to come and collect their dog. nope no one came and the poor frightened girl kept on coming back inside so i handed the keys back over to the other supervisor while i ran to the car and got the leg straps of my horse rug, made then into a temp lead and collar and tied her up outside in the shade and gave her some water. so i finished work and no one had come looking for her so i called the council but the rangers where some where else so they didn't know what time they could come and collect her so i rang the rspca and said i would come in ( 45min drive) to drop the poor girl off, anyway and i was walking to the car i saw another dog with a chain on its neck running around on the road luckily the center caretaker was there and i also had my horses lunge lead in the car. so he held the girl while i called the other dog over it was a bit nervous but came as soon as i called. anyway i got both dogs into my little ford fiesta and got them into the rspca, no microchip but i didn't think they would as they weren't desexed but oh well the lady was lovely and thanked me for driving all the way to bring them in and told me she would call me if they where collected or if they weren't and also gave me a number if i wanted to ring and check on them. i rang to day no one has called looking for them i put up notices and everything i wish i could bring them home poor things looked like they needed a bit of love and they where soo sweet to just big cuddle bunnys. i feel bad that they are still in there i was sure someone would have picked them up

Just wanted to say good luck and I hope there are no problems with the signing over as he deserves better than that. And good on you for helping the poor guy :)

OH let zorro into the bedroom, all I saw was a big black blob flying towards me throught the air followed by it landing on me and then getting licked to death. And when my mum arrived she too was licked and cuddle to death by a happy little cocker!!!!!

I think that is so wrong shame on the motel!!!! I can understand business owners getting annoyed at people trying to sneak a dog into their business, but it's not hard for the business to check politely to see if it is a guide dog. I have people bring there dogs into the ice cream shops all the time and I ha e to ask them to leave if they make a fuss I just tell them it's agenced the law, I also had someone try to pull "oh but it's a guild dog" I just apolagized and said " I'm sorry but he's not wearing anything to say he is a guild dog do you have a ID card?" he went out and tied his dog up and came back for icecream. I have had 2 blind people with dogs come in and the dogs have there proper harness and guild dog gear on so are easy to identify with out even asking for a card :)

My cocker zorro was like that untill he joined an obedience club now he loves any other dog he meets. He still gets scared if it is an aggressive dog tho, I agree the lady should have more control over her dog. But yer just get him use to as many different dogs as you can :D

Well zorro loves chasing birds in his sleep and barking so I don't see any reason as to why they can't have bad dreams :)

Omg SNAP I also like Shetland sheep dogs and tollers and awww what am I saying all gundogs and working dogs!!! I just love the English cocker spaniels goofy nature they are intelligent but you would have a hard time believing it. I don't like bull breeds purely for the looks, and I have had way to many JRT, JRT crosses and other SWF alao other terriers run up and attack me and zorro I know they are not all like that but it has turned me of them now I told OH if he wants one it will be his dog.

The lady knew I asked first, she was standing there watching when I did it. then just ignore her its not her dog.

if you hadn't asked first then yes it is wrong, but you did ask and they lady had said yes. just tell the other woman that you asked first and that there is no need to jump to conclusions and leave it at that.

Just wondering what would happen if your dog was attacked by a cat in his own yard as my dog is always being beaten up by cats and runs And hides

Well Zorro is a ckcs not a cocker spaniel according to some people LOL I dunno how you can confuse the 2. Oh and that old man that thought he was a pitbull

Well he hasn't been back and the parents rang me to apolagize so think it has been nipped in the bud, I told the patents I was only worried for my dogs safety, and apprently he loves animals so no need to worry and they told me if he did it again I could call the police, and they really didn't know why he would do that as he is a good kid that hasn't done anything before Anyway I thanked them for calling me to apolagize and told them I appreciated the call as not many parents around here would do that.

Does anyone have RSPCA pet insurance? If so how have they found it as I'm looking to get better insurance for zorro than racq. So far they look te best priced for what I want in a pet insurance and OH likes the idea that some of the money goes to helping lost or poorly treated kittens ( he is such a sook) :) Any other suggestions would be great also.

I dunno rusty was having a pee on a tree and zorro went between his les and got his head covered in wee. I some times wonder about my dog. I think it's a dominance thing with entire males as they are marking you, could also just be bad behaviour.

River star that was one thought I had too that he just wanted to play with zorro. There have been a few break in's in the area so that is another reason for the camaras.
