  1. I have a desensitisation CD, has all different sounds on it, if you PM. Jenny
  2. Yep well some vets are thick and narrow minded, that is a fact!
  3. a) Take her back to the vet. b) restrict activity, crate puppy don't allow any play with other dog for a few days nor any running, jumping etc try to keep puppy as quiet as possible. c) perhaps add some glucosamine to diet. Jenny
  4. The Frames I get are generally fatty which I prefer, so no I don't trim them. My dogs are more prone to being a bit lean, this may be more because they are extremely active. Jenny
  5. My girls are on Eagle Pack Power Formula and have been for roughly 6 months now. I had been feeding an all raw diet however found it too hard to keep weight on them as they all eat until they are full, so adding extra was fruitless. Am more then happy with the results, the girls maintain weight easily, are full of energy and coats are great! They all still get part raw but with stay with what I am doing now as I got the results I wanted. Should add, stools are small and esy to clean up, no 'cow pats' that some other brands have caused! Jenny
  6. Hmmmm wonder if Royal Jelly would work better given both in the diet and using the Shampoo????? Might have to give it a go, thanks for the replys to this doubting Thomas! Try anything once ;-)
  7. Maybe I'm a bit thick but I can't get my head around how a shampoo would make coat grow????? Diet yes, shampoo I don't get! I have a girl who is just blowing and another who I would like to hurry up and grow. Jenny
  8. Thanks for the help guys, made my enquiry, had a prompt response, now what to buy .
  9. Agree about Frountline, massive waste of money last week for all my dogs. Thats even after bathing them in flea shampoo and using the watering can around the yard with Nucodol (malawash whatever it wants to be called now) My dogs also get garlic everyday. Guess what. Yep got fleas again ;)
  10. Dearest Bob and Jeanette, Our thoughts are with you as I am sure you know. Big hugs to you and the rest of the Ramorra crew. Love Jenny, Corina and Becky
  11. GSD's being a double coated breed shed twice a year (generally) at these times they require thorugh grooming almost daily to keep up with the hair that is dropping. In between times a weekly brushing should be more then adequate, I haven't tried the Mars Coat King however I have had others tell me that it works well on a GSD. Unfortuately that is the best that can be done with almost all double coated breeds, shedding hair is one of the ?joys? of this wondeful breed. Jen
  12. Sending you big hugs Hannah! RIP Tayla, here for a good time, not a long time Jenny
  13. How many can ya get!!!!! I would love to be able to get a regular supply! The only thing fore my lot is that they don't like the ones that have been shot (smell of gunpowder residue I presume) My older supplier used to trap.
  14. I feed fresh wild rabbit and roo when I can get it, just have to ensure a worming regime. My guys will eat it however it comes, skin, organs the worksand eat it with gusto. Unfortunately I am running low on suppliers so they haven't had either for quite some time:(
  15. Thats my kind of working bee count me in (as long as its a kidfree weekend )
  16. The pics are great Nat! Can I pinch the ones of Cherry, Keiffer and Kayla (the 2 smooth Collies and the GSD ) That ran together. Jen
  17. Looks like her to me Nat ( I also think she was the only Mal there) She has the best temp on a mal that I have yet to come across. Correct me if I am wrong but is her name Minne minna or something like that?????.
  18. Nekhbet I have fallen in LOVE with your Mal, she is DIVINE! Well my dogs where dismal failures LOL except for Keiffie boy who was BRILLIANT ( His MUM is brilliant as well)! Gunna give that a go again, maybe after a few more try's the dogs will get the hang of it
  19. Just wondering if there is a cost involved, can anuone show up? Might have to bring part of the crew down for something to do Jen
  20. Jacq there is no shame in getting all teary, he was a great example of the breed and was important to you, look at his kids you have and be greatful he was here for the time he was! May all our Collies and their pets have a safe and Merry Christmas
  21. A wonderful example of the breed, gone but never forgotten. Run over the rainbow bridge with his beautiful daughter Carluke Tart in a Tiara, Both here for a good time unfortunately not a long time :p My thoughts are with the Stoneys Jen
  22. Chicken Frames are available from most chicken butchers, they are often sold 4 to a bag for a $1 or I get 1 box a week (which I order) for $10. You just have to ask
  23. Here is the link to an article written by well known GSD exhibitor and judge Fran Farley. Although it speaks specifically about GSD I think you can relate it to any breed. I included a copy of this for all my puppy buyers as it is very easy to read with no overload of info. http://www.gsdcv.org.au/articles/breed/puppy_exercise.htm Cheers Jen
