Thanks Jakemon, they certainly quoted a lot lower than anywhere else I found. Unfortunately we've just found out this week that her kidneys are failing so her next anaesthetic will be her last.

Hi, New here and posting on behalf of my mother's ageing Cocker Spaniel/Dachshund cross, not a pure breed I know but she's going to need MRI of her lumbar spine to know what treatment she should and shouldn't have, and there is probably more knowledge of where to get a canine MRI on this forum than anywhere else. So I hope you don't mind me asking: Is there anywhere in the Sydney/Newcastle region (we're on the Central Coast) we can get canine MRI for hundreds of dollars, rather than thousands? Mike
