Thank u everyone i think i my handling does change in the ring i get a little nervous still.will go back to basics with her and try not to over think/train her. Ive asked a few close friends who watch her in the ring and they say she is looking great i just feel she should be next to me and not two feet behind lol! Next show in a fortnight will see how we go :)

I'm campaigning a young (13mths) pup at the moment, training is going very well outside of the ring, she will gait along side of me looking straight ahead at correct speed ect. But at the last few shows she has begun to gait a few steps behind me, not amount of squeakers or treats will entire her to go quicker. She is still wagging her tail and moving soundly just too slow! Outside of the ring she quickens her step immediately.....very frustrating. Any ideas on how to encourage her in the ring is greatly appreciated :)

Haha sounds like a good day out bet she had a ball lol, ellie walks better in the rain and holds her head up cause she hates water on her nose :D. I think i have walls but a tarp would work, may not look as good but will do the trick.

Sounds promising hahaha, long coated breed vs mud and rain wonder who would win. Thank you :)

The Strangest Cross Breed You Have Ever Seen?
clairnaye replied to jackie_a1's topic in General Dog Discussion
Sadly i didn't snap a pic but at the vet a client brought in a staffy cross greyhound from the pound....really long legs on a lean body, stocky chest with a sdfafford head.....very very interesting cross breed. Sorry i didnt take a picc -
thats just like indie or staffy we were at bayview and she got distracted by another family and their dog she came back.....about 20 mins later one of my firends said she was up the top zig zaging looking for us!!!

im training my dads blue am staff atm hes very very agressive with other dogs but after a month he can be in the same room with another dog without getting crazy eyed but hes only 18months old hes a rescue dog never got any socialisation when he was a pup. Your gsd will get better with time she'll learn...eventually Buddy the cocker pup is crazy.....that sums him up in one word...oh but very very intelligent nothing gets past him. ridgiemum: yeah it is from memory...correct me if im wrong tho

cheers hes 12 weeks old and needs to start meeting bigger dogs, he's great with my clients newfs but hasn't been around any other big dogs.
