  1. I would love to see this I bet sighthound zoomies are spectacular :) Lol, yes spectacular and slightly 'heart in mouth' in a smaller space. I'm always a bit heart in mouth watching my greyhounds especially Stan. Maddie is a lot quicker than him and in his relentless quest to beat her he does things like smacking headfirst into one of the support beams under the deck and almost knocking himself out. Cutting her off at the pass seemed a good idea at the time...he still has the scar from that one. Stan does these weird on the spot 360's which my neighbour calls "the demented donut"
  2. Yep Stan and Maddie are rescue greyhounds,my backyard looks like Dapto dog track, the four corners are deep gouges in the lawn :)
  3. Oh and Karen just told me Marcus was adopted by one of her clients so she will be seeing a lot more of him
  4. What an ugly post mymatejack you sad little individual. RIP Elfie
  5. Yep T I will ask Karen if I can share her photo. That video was great The ladies that adopted Marcus sounded lovely, see him with his arm around the ladies neck
  6. Don't the electricity and water meter readers need to get in? Ooops what HA said.
  7. Yes she posted a photo on her FB page carrying him with his adoption details. In her words "this lovely little man stole my heart"
  8. Stan has a scoff stopper bowl that does slow him up but if he had to try and work out a maze he would just go and eat Maddie's.
  9. I know Karen well who groomed Levi, she is a foster carer for greyhound rescue. She said he was the most gorgeous little boy so he couldn't have been too much of a turd
  10. I've been lurking in the puppy thread and counting down with you Jules :)
  11. Easy answer for me...I have no family, only my dogs, take them or stay.
  12. As someone else said I would leave early if it was possible but if it wasn't I would not leave without my dogs. Having said that I have thankfully not been put in that situation so I guess you never know but I could not live with myself leaving and looking at them watch me go with that trust in their eyes * shudder*
  13. Stan and Maddies pillowcases may be triggering their dreams
  14. I'm just watching Maddie asleep on the lounge now. I forgot the nose and whisker twitching and the occasional exposed fang
  15. Yes my two yip everytime they are asleep. The feet are paddling and the eyelids flicker madly, they look like they are having a fit or something.
  16. Not as fast as a greyhound. Bloody annoying isn't it Aussie. The people behind have a cat the keeps going into my elderly neighbours cabin (they are in their 90's and forget to close the door properly) and spraying everywhere. We have told them and they don't care. I have warned them about my greys but they just laugh That's terrible! They won't be laughing if it gets near your guys The crap thing is that the owners bad attitude is only going to hurt the cat in the end. Yes that's the thing. I have seen Maddie snap a bird out of a tree in mid flight! I didn't even see her lurking under the tree, just a white flash and bang, it was gone. It would break my heart it they killed the cat but if Maddie spots it it will have no chance of escape I gaurantee and that's exactly what I told them.
