This is exactly my situation at the moment. We moved two months ago from a house with a huge yard to a house where I too have fenced off enough for them to go to the loo but cannot leave them out there unsupervised. We too are stuck here for now as I had no choice but we will move when we can, I know they miss their yard but they are adapting to it. The only reason I would rehome my dogs is if as others have said I was too unwell to look after them and I have already made arrangements should that happen.

I voted an Aussie theme, this was our 2011 Xmas photos. We live at the beach so went for that, we are sort of combining the two this year :)

That's how Stan stares at me every night around dinner time so I just shoved that on his head today and took the pic :laugh: I have a really cool theme for this years we just have to wait for a day without storms!

Thanks everyone :D BCC yes his head has healed really well, he's got a lumpy scar but he's still as handsome as ever :) I have warned the lady next door several times about the cat but she still lets him roam *sigh* Roova I did notice the parsley was looking a little ordinary :laugh: it got hammered in the storms. Stan could drop a couple of kilos but he's a lazy hound, he has managed to get himself from my bed to the lounge this morning lol. Maddie is a very active little girl and stays at a good weight. Hankdog I call them the "seagull" ears :laugh:

Yep Martin the cat next door, Stan is not quite as interested as Maddie, mind you if Martin keeps jumping the fence he will stretch the friendship

I have a top of the range hydrobath and never use it now...greyhounds don't smell.

She is stunning CC her coat is just beautiful. Maddie is such a 'baldy' even when she gets her winter coat although of course much colder in the UK.

CC I don't know why they do it but for large dogs they can curl up in the smallest ball! Maddie and Stan have the whole lounge in this pic but they are squished up one end :laugh: I love photos of Frida she has similar markings to my Maddie just a darker brindle. Leah that photo is soooo cute!

I don't expect much to change from this enquiry personally, limit the breeding of race greys is the way to go IMO. Apparently Janet and Peter went over like a lead balloon which is hardly surprising, the belt buckle comment while maybe true really is right up there with the "bludgeoning to death" crap and where were the big guns of grey rescue? The GAP haters that are SO vocal on Facebook yet not one of them had a representative there? pfft I hate the term "keyboard warriors" but when it boiled down to it where were they?
