  1. Yes you never know Gapvic, I bet they'd be negotiable on the price too. They are on the Central Coast where I used to live, pity it wasn't a few months ago I could've put them on the removalist truck!
  2. I just found these gorgeous greyhound statues on Gumtree and thought I would share them here for the greyhound lovers :) Gapvic weren't you looking for something like this a while ago? http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/morisset/other-garden/2-large-concrete-greyhound-dog-statues/1068746694
  3. Are you sure you aren't thinking about the GoDaddy ad? That one shows a puppy that falls off a truck, gets back to the breeder which turns out to be a puppy mill . . . Oh I'm not sure someone was just talking about it, maybe that's the one they meant.
  4. I was just reading that there have been complaints that it shows a lost puppy and some channels have pulled the ad...seriously O.o
  5. Gee I have. It's "small dog" syndrome transferred to horses. Blame the owners, not the ponies. Difficulty is with riding them, someone big enough to teach the good manners is too big to ride them. Different story for harness and in lead showing though. Shetland ponies are smart and often too small for people to bother with teaching good manners. They need boundaries and to be treated as more than little four legged teddies. Yeah like I said "I've" never met one, didn't say they didn't exist just my personal experience.
  6. This surprises me. Can you provide the evidence please. I am interested to see it. http://www.ncis.org.au/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/FACT-SHEET-Animal-related-deaths-final.pdf You've been a bit unfair to poor little shetland ponies, giving them all the blame. I've never met a nice Shetland pony in my life, evil little suckers that bite, run you under trees and into fences and when they finally get you off they run off bucking with glee basically flipping you the bird.
  7. Gorgeous Alex I'm so happy for you :)
  8. It's easy to do and then you think you're going mad when you can't find it

  11. Never apologise for your wonderful photos Yonjuro. Who wouldn't enjoy photos of a guy who adores his dog and family and loves to show them off? I love this thread
  12. besides some subtlety issues she's spreading the word of how wonderful greys are so well done young lady
  13. Maddie was sound asleep dreaming in this pic. Not sure if she was smiling or she was about to kill something

  15. Same statue was $149 if you scrolled down on the same page, I want it! ETA Kirty if we buy one each we might get a discount
  16. With Stan I'm not sure :/ He likes me because I feed him and to him food is the most important thing in his world. He's only affectionate when it suits him and when I leave the house he's pretty meh about it. Maddie on the other hand rarely lets me out of her sight. She loves to snuggle up to me, she craves affection I can kiss her face all day and she loves it. Her little face at the window is the last thing I see as I back out the driveway and the first thing I see when I get home, I really do think she loves me. Right now she is curled around my back on the lounge and I have no idea where Stan is but I'm guessing in my bed lol
  17. This photo isn't mine but it pops up a lot on different sighthound FB sites and I think it's amazing.
  18. Awww bet they were happy to see each other That first photo should go in the smiling dogs thread in the photo section Yonjuro, Ronin's even got his eyes closed he's that happy!
  19. I've been so paranoid about the tiger snakes since moving here, I'm always looking around but I keep the lawn mowed and there's no rubbish laying around. I thought of this thread this morning when I was walking out to the clothesline and Stan was outside near the backdoor eyes wide open and staring at something, he was backing away and had a look of fear. I dropped the laundry basket, ran out and grabbed his collar but he pulled back and his collar came off and he took off down the yard. I turned around to see what he was looking at and saw a big mound of soap suds from the washing machine coming out of the drain outside.....veeeeewy scarwy soap suds Bloody dog gave me a heart attack.
  20. Fantastic photos your daughter is seriously cute! There are so many gorgeous waterways over there, the ocean and the beaches are just divine. I have a friend that moved over to Yanchep 6 years ago and she said the beaches are just stunning.
