  1. Thanks hortfurball the surfing ones are funny. He is very muscular considering he has rarely left the lounge since I got him in Aug last year! .He is an ex racer but did not even get past his trials and ended up in Hawksbury Pound. My two are never offleash(no recall)but I have a huge backyard they zoom around in.Maddie is a sweetheart she is quite small. She is a failed racer.I picked up that coat at the op shop for 50 cents. The collars come from Jans Martingales in America. They are an all in one martingale and lead.I love them and they were really cheap.
  2. I saw that as well couldn't beleive it and if I remember rightly the fake balls had to be ordered from somewhere overseas and it was a very expensive exersise.Still shaking my head at that one.As far as the ad goes I thought it was funny and will hopefully get the message across.
  3. OMG what a perfect pose with his paws together!Beautiful.
  4. Decided on a beach theme this christmas. This is Stan and Maddie at the local beach.
  5. I mean that in the nicest possible way hope I didn't offend. He just looks like a wise old man in that particular photo. You know when you look at them and as Perse said they're almost human.
  6. Pers, I can't for the life of me understand why you get that feeling...... tlc I think Cooper has been on this planet before.
  7. So many gorgeous photos. Mine were rescues so no puppy photos.NAO love the baby greys and I could kiss Eskys face what a cutee!
  8. Twice a day for my two.Breakfast is around 5am when I go to work so dinner is around 4/5pm.They get one treat a week(pigs ear or roo flaps).
  9. Lots of hugs to you and Morgan from me and the hounds.
  10. He is a stunning boy pink nose or not.
  11. Gazellehound Bella is just simply divine she truly is a beautiful girl.Kuges face makes me smile hortfurball.I lost my old boy two years ago aged 16.There is something so special about the love of an old dog.
  12. The vetbasix sunscreen for dogs has a bittering agent in it which deters them from licking it.Beware though it is a very thick cream and hard to spread but if it's only the nose it should be fine. You can buy it at Petbarn or Petstock.
  13. This is what happens after a night of very little sleep and no coffee, then trying to multi task by putting up decorations and conducting sit/stay training at the same time....... Thank you.
  14. Love all the pics keep them coming.Dxenion can you please post the Xmas lights one here that you posted in OT for those that can't access it?It is gorgeous.
  15. I have two rescue greyhounds.I don't know what went on in their young lives but having people I know as greyhound trainers they don't get to live the the ""normal puppy life".They live a fairly regimented life as far as I know.My two are spoiled rotten because I think they deserve it.They definately have boundries but most of the time I'm happy to spoil them because I love to kiss their faces,I love to wake up in the morning in a greyhound sandwich and I feel blessed every day that they are a part of my life.
  16. Not a dumb question at all.As others have said you know your dog the best.I hope Loki is OK.
  17. The best day was when each of them came to foster with me.They had both been through the mill but the day they arrived at my door with those pleading greyhound eyes and the skinny tails slowly wagging I could almost hear them saying can I please STAY HERE.Heart melting. They give me wonderful memories everyday.
  18. A couple of acres down around the Bega valley with kennels so I could do more for greyhound rescue.
  19. That is so funny. All I talk about these days is greyhounds, drunk or sober. .I was a little under the weather at a friends place recently and whilst waiting for a cab proceeded to tell everyone "I need to get home to Stan".A person who had never met me asked if that was my husband and everyone said "NO THAT'S HER DOG".
  20. Pretty much given up on bones here,Stan is a pig.I have had the 7 day wait when he was trying to swallow a large piece of bone I was trying to get off him and he was desperately trying to get it down before I took it off him.He got it down with a lot of gagging and me with my hand down his throat. .Even pigs ears I have to strictly supervise him.Poor Maddie misses out on a bone because if Stan knows she's got one (which takes her forever to eat)he's even worse thinking he can get hers! It's just not worth it.
  21. @ Aussies doggies. My two are similar to yours.Maddie would run around outside in a cyclone hence the name MADdie.Stan hates it.He will hold on forever if he could but rain hail or shine when Stan has done a poo it's like he's won an olympic gold medal!I can hear him coming thundering up the stairs and then it's batten down the hatches as he zooms around the house leaping in the air.Bloody mad my greyhounds.
