  1. I used to feed my two Supercoat and never had a problem but Maddie has some dermatitis on her feet so I switched to Pro Plan Salmon and Tuna for skin and stomach and have never looked back.My two look fantastic and as Koe said half the poo.
  2. I have two rescue greyhounds that came to me four months apart aged 2.I have no idea about their first young years or what they went through but the unconditional love they show me everyday makes my heart swell. They are totally different in personality. STAN is definately not the brightest star in the sky bless him but that just makes me love him even more.He is sooo easy going nothing(apart from thunder) worries him.He loves everyone in particular children.Kids can crawl all over him hug him get him in a headlock anything he just loves kids.He loves a cuddle from me but only when he feels like it.He doesn't crave affection but he likes a hug in bed at night when he's curled up next to me.He loves Maddie but she wants to play all the time and he'd rather chill out on his own.Although he is very food orientated he would NEVER bench surf and I could leave food defrosting on the sink and he would never touch it.I love my boy so much. MADDIE is naughty! She loves to destroy things dig holes in the yard bosses the crap out of Stan is a terrible bench surfer will pull the bin down and drag the contents around the yard. She's not overly fussed with people she doesn't know but follows me around like a shadow. She craves affection and I can not take Stan away from her or she will scream the house down. She will faithfully stare out the window waiting for me to come home whereas Stan wouldn't even bother getting out of bed.I love my girl so much. I am so thankful for both of them.

  7. Just had to share this. Two friends of mine delivered to me a large santa sack filled with bags of homemade doggie treats. They baked for hours and individually wrapped bags with a variety of treats in each one. They asked me to give them to the foster greyhounds here on the coast and the rest I will take to my local pound on Thursday when I visit. They are not involved in rescue at all just wanted a treat for the fosters and the poundies on Xmas day. So Scotty and Wendy for being so kind and thoughtful. .
  8. Dxenion beautiful pic and story. If I saw you driving along I would take a photo as well.Stan would wear his antlers all day.If they start to fall forward he flicks his head back so they stay on!
  9. Mine do too and I love it.Although jumping all over me when I've only been to the letterbox is a bit annoying.
  10. Oh they are gorgeous.I love the last one.
  11. Oh TD I am so sorry what a beautiful boy. They leave such a big hole in your life and your heart. To the world you were just one but to one you were my world.

  14. Oh bless Perse. .May I ask how old is Hamlet and Bernie?
  15. No I am not thankful for a nip or scratches my dogs are muzzled and cannot even defend themselves.
  16. It's not just bigger dogs either. I know - but a lot of SWF owners worry about their dogs being viewed as "prey" by some larger dogs and they are less likely to survive an attack. It's the small breed dogs I seem to have the the most trouble with in my area and I don't mean in offleash areas I mean just walking down the street.Numerous times I've had little dogs running around my greyhounds barking madly and nipping.Greyhounds have thin skin and a nip can result in stitches.
  17. Why is it surprising to you that the OP's dogs don't like sardines? My two love sardines but then again they would eat dirt if I put it in a bowl. The OP is asking for advice not critisism.
  18. All the photos are gorgeous everyone. The biggest smile on my face every time I look in here.DogSportObsessed the first one is priceless. .
